Week 15: at Cincinnati Bengals

All RB vs CIN

FBG says: Great matchup. Oakland has been a below-average rushing offense this season, ranking 25th in rushing yards (101.5 per game) and 28th in rushing touchdowns (0.5 per game). Veteran Doug Mar-tin is the clear lead back with Jalen Richard serving almost exclusively as a third-down back. Martin was able to play through a knee injury last week to carry 16 times for 32 yards and a touchdown against a stout Pittsburgh run defense. While Martin has been solid, he has been unable to break off any big runs and at nearly 30-years old doesn't seem to have the same burst he did early in his career. One of the few strengths of this Raiders team has been the interior of the offensive line but injuries have struck in a big way. Top guard Kelechi Osemele missed last week with a toe injury and is questionable to suit up in Week 15. His backup, Jon Feliciano, was capable in relief but suffered a calf injury late in the game last week and has been placed on injured reserve. The other starting guard, Gabe Jackson, suffered an elbow injury last week and is also listed as questionable for Week 15. The Bengals defense is dead last in the league in rushing yards allowed (148.1 per game). Cincinnati has also allowed at least one touchdown to a running back in 12 straight games and rank 30th in the league, giving up 1.3 rushing touchdowns per game on the season. After getting torched by Phillip Lindsay in Week 13, the Bengals held up surprisingly well against the Melvin Gordon-less Chargers rushing attack last week, allowing just 78 combined rushing yards to Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson. Vontaze Burfict missed the game with an injury but it may have been addition by subtraction because Burfict has been a shell of the player he once was and may miss this week again. Nick Vigil made his return to the lineup in Week 13 and gave the rush defense a big boost. He has been far and away the best linebacker on the team this season. This is still a defense that is one that is one of if not the worst in the league as outside of Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap this team has very little talent.
