Game Recaps

2005 Week 1 vs GB (3 / 1 / 31 / 0 rec)

Rogers got just three looks, all on deep routes. Harrington tried to get Rogers the ball in the second and third quarter, but each time overthrew him. They finally connected in the fourth quarter on a nice deep ball for 31 yards and a first down.

2005 Week 2 vs CHI (9 / 3 / 31 / 0 rec)

Rogers was shut out in the first half with just one target. He was more of a factor in the second half with eight targets, but he only caught three balls for 31 yards. On third and nine from the Chicago 19 yard line, he was targeted in the end zone and had his hands on the ball but dropped it. He was Joey Harrington's target on another red zone play, but Harrington was hit as he threw and the ball went straight into the ground. Only one of his catches came during Harrington's time in the game. Backup QB Dan Ostrovsky targeted him three times during garbage time, and Rogers caught two and dropped the other.

2005 Week 4 vs TB (2 / 1 / 15 / 0 rec)

Rogers saw his first target and catch in the game for 15 yards late in the fourth quarter. He missed a reception that would have been for a third down conversion with less than two minutes left in the game. It was thrown behind him, but he should have been able to make the catch.

2005 Week 10 vs ARI (2 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)

Rogers is not a viable part of this offense right now.

2005 Week 11 vs DAL (4 / 4 / 41 / 0 rec)

Rogers caught everything that came his way making four receptions for 41 yards. But it is of note that he was not looked to until the fourth quarter of play.

2005 Week 12 vs ATL (7 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)

Rogers was virtually invisible in the first half, but was targeted twice on the opening drive of the third quarter. The first was knocked down at the line of scrimmage. The second one was dropped. He saw three other targets on the final drive of the game when backup QB Dan Orlovsky was in the game.

2005 Week 14 vs GB (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Rogers actually got some playing time in this game, but he was unable to come up with any receptions.

2005 Week 15 vs CIN (3 / 3 / 71 / 1 rec)

Rogers caught the three balls thrown his way and turned one from Joey Harrington into a 35 yard touchdown. With Rogers the potential is there but the like others on this team the desire seems to be intermittent. Rogers three catches totaled 71 yards.
