Roby was not targeted in the passing game, but carried once for three yards on a reverse.

2005 Week 2 vs BAL (1 / 1 / 24 / 0 rec)

Roby was used mainly on kickoff returns, but he gained big yardage on his only catch of the day. One of his kickoff returns was responsible for a field goal because of the good field position he created for his team.

2005 Week 6 vs CIN (1 / 1 / 2 / 0 rec, 2 / 16 / 0 rush)

Roby caught his only pass of the game late in the third quarter and saw most of his action on special teams returning kickoffs. He did have two end around rushing attempts for a total of 16 yards.

2005 Week 7 vs ARI (3 / 1 / 31 / 0 rec)

Roby caught just one pass, a 31 yard gain in the fourth quarter. Roby added a seven yard catch on his next target, but the reception was nullified by a penalty. His last chance was an overthrow in the end zone. Three of his four targets were in the final quarter.

2005 Week 8 vs OAK (12 / 7 / 83 / 1 rec)

With the regular starters all hobbled by injury, the rookie was Steve McNair's leading receiver. Roby showed good quickness and sure hands in reeling in seven passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.

2005 Week 9 vs CLE (6 / 1 / 29 / 0 rec)

Roby was actively targeted in this game, but did not catch a pass until the final twenty seconds of this game. Roby did not appear to be in rhythm with Steve McNair as he had the week before, as McNair consistently was overthrowing him or throwing the ball behind him. Two of the targets had pass interference calls, one on offense and one on defense.

2005 Week 11 vs JAX (3 / 2 / 24 / 0 rec)

Roby was slightly more productive than his fellow rookie Jones, as he caught two passes thrown to him. His contribution to the passing game was minimal as well.

2005 Week 16 vs MIA (7 / 3 / 30 / 0 rec)

Roby has emerged as the second receiver on this team behind Bennett and he was targeted seven times in the game, but was only able to come up with three catches for 30 yards, with the longest reception being 14 yards.

2005 Week 17 vs JAX (4 / 1 / 8 / 0 rec)

Roby saw most of his action returning kickoffs after Pacman Jones was benched by Coach Fisher. He had just one reception as a receiver for eight yards.
