2019 Week 1 vs MIN (6 / 4 / 64 / 1 rec)
His first catch came with 5:25 in the third quarter for a first down in the right flat. Ryan targeted Ridley in the end zone late in the third quarter and drew a defensive pass interference call that was questionable, at best. Ridley dropped a low throw against tight coverage late in the third quarter. Ryan exhibited good touch on a throw to the pylon where Trae Waynes tied up Ridely during the stem, but Ridley worked free and ran to the pylong and under the target for the touchdown with nine minutes left. Ridley's most impressive play was a crossing route where made multiple men miss in the open field with a little more than a minute left to reach the Vikings two.

He earned a first down on 3rd and 5 on an out to the opposite side of the field. Ridley dropped a diving go route off a double move in the end zone on 2nd and 9. Ridley made the first man miss after running a short out and got the first down in the middle of the second quarter. He then caught a route crossing the middle for a first down and took a hard hit to his hip on the play that forced Ridley to leave the game (on his own volition) for a break. He scored a few plays later on a deep post where he sold the dig effectively to the coverage to run past. He worked back to the ball with an excellent extension to the ball over the middle for a first down with a minute left. Late in the game, Ridley nearly pulled down a post route between two defenders in the end zone.

Ridley didn't earn a target in the first half and then made a mental error with a third-and-short block where he was too close to the line of scrimmage to begin his block and cost a third-down conversion for Austin Hooper. Ridley made his first catch later in the series on a slant for a first down.
2019 Week 4 vs TEN (6 / 3 / 32 / 0 rec)
Adoree Jackson tightly covered Ridley on a third-down target at the boundary and forced the incompletion and a subsequent punt. Ryan overshot Calvin Ridley on a deep post early in the second quarter. Ridley dropped a 2nd and 20 pass in the third quarter on a route breaking inside and back to the quarterback. He toasted Malcolm Butler for a dee pout in the middle of the third quarter. He caught an off-target receiver screen in the middle of the fourth quarter. He earned an eight-yard hook route deep in their territory with less than two minutes left.
2019 Week 5 vs HOU (9 / 5 / 88 / 1 rec)
The receiver slipped on a short sideline route on 2nd and 8 during the Falcons' second series and the ball bounced off his hands. He ran a strong out route with a nice sale of the post against off coverage for a 22-yard gain to get Atlanta inside the Texans' 25. Ryan found Ridley for 16 yards in the right flat during the fifth series to reach midfield. Ryan led Ridley too far on an inside-breaking route and into a throng of defenders who should have intercepted the target late in the half. After a first-down clipping penalty on Alex Mack, Ridley was overthrown at the sideline on a deep out. Ridley earned an out route late in the third quarter down by 16 points. Ryan worked free on a roll to the right and found Ridley for a 28-yard score at the right boundary of the end zone and Ridley worked free of Jonathan Joseph, who thought he pushed the receiver out of bounds.
2019 Week 6 vs ARI (6 / 4 / 48 / 1 rec)
He scored on a variation of orbit motion towards the quarterback at the snap, to mimic an end-around and then reversed field to the flat he came from and scored after making a defender miss. Ridley committed a pass interference penalty to end the second drive of the first quarter, but it was a designed clear-out play for Julio Jones that Ryan was late to throw the ball and it contributed to Ridley's block being illegal. He earned a short rout in the left flat for five yards on a pass that forced him back to the ball and back insdie the first down marker early in the fourth quarter. Two plays later he earned 23 yards on an out route across midfield.
2019 Week 7 vs LAR (6 / 4 / 30 / 0 rec)
Dante Fowler held Ridley on third and three during the first drive and gave Altanta new life. Ridley earned a first down on an out route late in the first drive. Ridley caught fin route against off coverage on third and short near midfield in the middle of the second quarter. He caught a quick out route late in the third quarter but Troy Hill stopped Ridley immediately on the play. Ridley gained six a few plays later on 2nd and 16 on a quick slant that Hill also limited early in the fourth quarter.
2019 Week 8 vs SEA (7 / 4 / 70 / 0 rec)
He dropped a short slant after cornerback Shaq Griffin knocked the ball away. The target was at the receiver's back shoulder. Although it should have been caught and secured, the placement made the corner's job easier to defend the target. He made a diving leaping catch near the end line for a two-point conversion on the Brian Hill touchdown run in the third quarter. Schaub threw a hospital ball to Ridley on a corner route thrown behind the receiver inside the 10. Ridley hit his head on the turf after catching the ball, taking the hit and holding on early in the fourth quarter. He passed an evaluation in the medical tent but rookie Olamide Zaccheaus replacement him during a fourth-quarter drive. Ridley was well covered on a fade in the end zone late in the game by Jamar Taylor. Ridley gained over 40 yards on two catches during garbage-time late in the game on passes over the middle. The first was a crossing route where he fumbled the ball after he was hit, but Austin Hooper recovered it.
2019 Week 10 vs NO (5 / 3 / 28 / 0 rec, 1 / 19 / 0 rush)
He earned 19 on the first play of the game, an end around form a two tight end set with the tight ends heavy to the opposite side of the run. Ridley caught a third-down out for the first down, dragging the back toe effectively at the boundary. Ridley earned a short gain on third and longin the flat, forcing a punt. Ridley ran the deep post and got behind the corner and safety early in the second half but Ryan underthrew the target. Ryan led Ridley too far on a slant under pressure late in the third quarter but the Saints earned an illegal hands to the face penalty that granted Atlanta a first down. Two plays later, he found Ridley on a well-run fin route against the blitz. Ridley gained another 10 yards up the crease after the pass.
2019 Week 11 vs CAR (8 / 8 / 143 / 1 rec)
He earned a throwback off play action across midfield for 34 yards. He was wide open and made the catch as he exited the boundary. Ridley earned a first-down near midfield on a 12-yard gain over the middle and followed up with a corner route on the next play for 26 yards against man coverage, earning a great release on the cornerback. Ridley earned an over-the-shoulder target up the flat to reach the Carolina 22 midway through the third quarter but ran gingerly off the field after the play. Ridley returned later in the drive to catch an anticipation throw to the left sideline in the back of the end zone to go up 26. Ridley ran the diamond release into a slant, making a diving catch early in the third quarter for nine yards on s2nd and 10. He followed up on a fade for 42 on a perfect throw from Ryan under pressure.
2019 Week 12 vs TB (14 / 6 / 85 / 1 rec, 1 / 15 / 0 rush)
He took an end-around for 15 yards during the first drive. Ridley earned his first target on a red-zone slant against double coverage that broke it up on third down, leading to a field goal. Ridley earned seven yards on a stop route to the right flat during Atlanta's second drive. Ridley tried to pull away from tight coverage on a fade late on a third-down pass up the right sideline and although he managed to earn some space, he had difficulty tracking the ball even as it landed in his hands. The drop led to a punt. Ryan forced the ball under pressure to Ridley in a well-covered right flat leading to a third and short. Ryan threw the ball up for grabs to Ridley with heavy pressure in his face. Ridley nearly caught the sailed target on the post route but Carlton Davis pulled the ball away from the receiver. Ridley got open on a go route in the end zone but couldn't get the second foot inbounds as he made the catch over the shoulder. Ridley dropped a slant against tight coverage and left the field holding his left shoulder awkwardly when landing on it with it pinned under him on the play. He returned a few plays later in the drive and made a catch on an out against tight coverage that nearly cut it off.
2019 Week 13 vs NO (10 / 8 / 91 / 0 rec)
The Saints played off the receivers on third and long to begin the game and Ridley earned a target on a fin route under the coverage for a gain of four and a punt. Ridley earned a fin route early in the second series for a six-yard gain, setting up a third-and-one. Ridley drew a third-and-six pass interference penalty on a fade route up the right sideline during the third series, getting Atlanta into the red zone. Ridley was wide-open on an end-zone switch-route combination with Christian Blake but Ryan didn't target him and it led to a turnover on downs inside the Saints' five. The next series, Ridley beat his coverage up the right sideline on third-and-eight, and Ryan underthrew him. Ridley managed to draw a defensive pass interference call. Ridley earned a first-down on a 2nd and-12 in-cut against man coverage for a first down midway through the second quarter. Ridley made an excellent grab on a throw high and away against tight man coverage late in the third quarter. He earned a 20-yard gain on a perimeter target thrown well over his head at the end of the third quarter to get Atlanta out of its own end zone. Ridley earned a slant for 10 yards later in the fourth quarter. Ridley dropped a comeback against tight coverage on a 3rd and 14 late in the game. The ball hit Ridley on the hands despite Ryan throwing the ball with defenders in his face and hanging off him. Ridley converted the 4th and 14 with a sliding catch against tight coverage on the next play. Ridley found a hole in the zone a play later for his eighth grab just ahead of the two-minute warning.
2019 Week 14 vs CAR (5 / 5 / 76 / 1 rec)
Ryan found Ridley on an over route in stride for a quick 18 on the second play of the game. Ridley earned 11 yards up the left flat on a second-and-long after Ryan took a sack during Atlanta's second drive. Ridley got free on what looked like a coverage break-down in the red zone for a touchdown under Eric Reid who thought he'd have more help underneath. Ridley came back hard for the ball to dig out a Ryan throw under pressure with 37 seconds left and reach the sideline near midfield. Ryan found Ridley two plays later on the corner route and came back well to the ball. Ridley collapsed after leaving the blue tent for an examination and was carted off the field on his back. He'll miss the rest of the season with an abdomen injury.

Ridley dropped his first target on a hitch in the middle of the field when the Eagles defense hit him in the back. Ryan didn't go back to him for the rest of the contest.
2018 Week 2 vs CAR (5 / 4 / 64 / 1 rec, 1 / 3 / 0 rush)
He earned his first catch of the season on a short out route as an outside receiver during the first drive. Ridley forced a defensive pass interference penalty from a stacked set with Austin Hooper but it shouldn't have bene called; Ridley fell and there was nothing but incidental contact. Ridley scored on an easy on-on-one singled up against a defender with outside shade for a slant. Ridley earned a strong game during the final two minutes working with Austin Hooper on a rub route and gained another 17 after the catch. Atlanta found Ridley on another route dragging under Hooper and gained another 15 yards after the catch. Ridley dropped an in-cut of a pivot route trying to run after the catch in the third quarter.
2018 Week 3 vs NO (8 / 7 / 146 / 3 rec, 1 / 9 / 0 rush)
Ridley got open over the middle for a first down from the slot on a trips set during the second drive. Ridley followed with an end around for nine yards. Ridley converted a third down during his drive on a dig route, juggling the ball after a good route and managing to hang on. On the next play, he ran a stutter-go for the touchdown. Ridley began the next drive with curl for a first down. Ryan overshot Ridley on a deep post in the middle of the second quarter and two Saints defenders committed uncalled fouls on Ridley during the route. Ridley then beat two defensive backs on a deep post on the first drive of the third quarter and forced a 45-yard defensive pass interference foul that put Atlanta in the Saints red zone. Saints defensive back Patrick Robinson was carted off after the play. Ridley then worked back to the football along the end line for his third touchdown. He earned a first down with Jones working deeper on a third down and opening up the flat for Ridley on the crossing route in the late third quarter.
2018 Week 4 vs CIN (6 / 4 / 54 / 2 rec, 1 / 1 / 0 rush)
He began the game with a six-yard gain working across the middle as the check-down option on a second-down pass play during the initial drive. He earned a deep target to begin the second drive but Ryan overshot the receiver. Ridley had a one-on-one with a Bengals defense on an end-around but slipped on a cut and lost yardage on the play. He then dropped a wide-open slant that when through his hands on high but catchable target. Ridley scored on a red zone slant for the Falcons' third touchdown of the half. Ridley scored again on an out-and-up just outside the red zone for an easy touchdown early in the fourth quarter for the Atlanta lead.
2018 Week 5 vs PIT (5 / 4 / 38 / 0 rec)
He earned an easy slant as the inside trips receiver on third down on the same side of the field as Freeman and Austin Hooper, who rubbed ahead for Ridley to work underneath. Ridley earned a first down on a shallow crossing route on third and short against a wide open zone to get Atlanta inside the Pittsburgh 15. Ridley earned an intermediate cross against a wide-open zone to end the third quarter. Jones' first catch came from the slot on a crossing route and scramble drill during the fourth quarter for 18 yards and position inside the red zone. Ridley and Ryan had a miscommunication with reading deep coverage on a double move late in the game and Ryan threw the ball deeper than Ridley's break, nearly resulting in an interception.
2018 Week 6 vs TB (3 / 3 / 47 / 0 rec)
He earned 15 yards on a third-and-short, play-action slant route during the opening drive. He earned another catch on an out to the left sideline late in the drive. He earned a third catch against off coverage on a comeback route for 20 yards. He injured his left ankle and had both ankles taped early in the second quarter. He was labeled questionable to return.
2018 Week 7 vs NYG (6 / 5 / 43 / 0 rec)
His first catch was a route across the middle that he took another eight yards across the field for the first down off a play-action look during the second drive. Ridley earned a first down on a pick route by Hooper to get open on the slant midway through the fourth quarter. Riley earned a first down on third and nine late in the game on a timing route where he broke back to the ball and extended through a wrap for the marker. It was his third, third-down catch of the game.
2018 Week 9 vs WAS (9 / 6 / 71 / 1 rec, 1 / 6 / 0 rush)
Quentin Dunbar broke well on a deep out route intended for Ridley during the first drive, undercutting the receiver on the throw across the field. Ridley later dropped a beltline-level target--failing to look the ball into his hands. Ridley earned a short throw-out to the left side for a minimal gain, setting up the seventh third down of the half. He scored on a crossing route working under a Mohamed Sanu rub that got Ridley into the open field for over 40 yards on the play. He earned a quick slant on an RPO for 15 yards early in the fourth quarter.
2018 Week 10 vs CLE (5 / 3 / 37 / 0 rec, 1 / 3 / 0 rush)
Ryan overthrew Ridley in the left flat during the first drive on a second and five. He fumbled a toss play as the I-back to begin the second quarter but recovered a lucky bounce for a three-yard gain. Denzel Ward nearly picked off Ryan on a third-and-seven out route where Ryan threw the ball behind Calvin Ridley's break during the third quarter and it forced another punt. Ridley beat Ward over the middle for a third-and-one conversion midway through the fourth quarter. A few plays later, Ridley earned 47 in a short route where he turned past Ward for most of the yardage after the catch.
2018 Week 11 vs DAL (4 / 3 / 32 / 0 rec, 1 / 5 / 0 rush)
Ryan found Ridley on a quick slant against a corner blitz on the opening play of the second quarter. Ryan threw the ball a little behind the receiver, who earned 14 and a first down. Ridley earned about five yards on a toss play from the backfield. Ryan found Ridley for 18 yards on a deep out early in the fourth series. Ridley let a crossing route through his hands while down by three on an RPO that landed in Leighton Vander Esch's mitts for the interception into Atlanta territory early in the fourth quarter. Ezekiel Elliott scored up the middle from 23 yards to pad the lead. He was wide open for a six-yard gain on a short out to midfield late in the game.
2018 Week 12 vs NO (13 / 8 / 93 / 1 rec)
Ridley's output was not a good indication of his up-and-down performance against the Saints' top corner Marshon Lattimore, who faced Ridley all night. The rookie earned his first target on third and nine from the Saints' 22 during the second drive, running an out and catching the ball thrown to his back shoulder for a first down and a gain of 11. Ridley leaned to the ground on a 3rd and 14 deep go route up the right sideline during the third series and let the ball go through his hands against tight coverage. After a couple of shorter targets, Ryan followed up with a deep go route to Ridley up the left sideline against Lattimore, but Ridley could not shake Lattimore with a double move near the line of scrimmage and the pass fell incomplete. On 3rd and 13 late in the third quarter, Ryan looked right, escaped pressure to his left, and made an off-balance toss to Ridley in the left flat for a long gain to the Saints' two. He tried to squeeze it into Ridley on 2nd and goal but Ridley dropped the ball before taking a hit by the safety coming over the top form the inside of the route - a tough target but one he should catch. Two plays later, Ryan found Ridley in the back of the end zone after a pump fake to help the receiver work clean on a 4th and goal at the end of the third quarter to cut the deficit to 14. Ridley dropped a fourth-quarter out route against Lattimore on the next drive but Ryan found Ridley on a dig route across the middle inside the Saints' 20 with 4:01 left on 4th and 10. As Ridley worked form the 10 to the 5, Lattimore stripped the ball from Ridley's loose carriage and the Saints recovered inside its 1.
2018 Week 13 vs BAL (5 / 3 / 22 / 0 rec)
Ryan threw behind Ridley on a slant and bounced off the receiver's outstretched hands on third and nine, stalling the opening drive and leading to a Matt Bryant field goal of 44 yards. Ridley didn't run a deep enough route on 3rd and 10 against off coverage and broke back a step too early and forced a 4th and 1 that the Ravens stuffed to end Atlanta's third series. Ridley dropped a corner route on third and five of the same drive when Humphrey knocked the pass loose as well, forcing Atlanta's second punt. Ridley caught a dig route on third down to begin the third quarter but couldn't weave through the defense to get the first down, forcing another punt. He scored on the rebound of an inaccurate pass to Mohamed Sanu that was tipped by three defender players while Ryan was hit throwing the ball, but the right tackle nullified the play with a hold.
2018 Week 14 vs GB (4 / 1 / 10 / 0 rec)
Ryan found Sanu while climbing the pocket under pressure on third and eight. He hit Sanu settling over the middle for the first down. Ryan found Sanu once again for a third-down conversion in a heavily-trafficked area with Julio Jones supplying a pick on third down in Packers territory during its second drive. Sanu earned a 12-ayrd gain in the left flat on a hook route setting up a short hitch to Jones for a short touchdown to get the game within 20 early in the foruth quarter. The snap bounces off Sanu's leg as he motioned across the formation in the red zone with Atlanta trying to get within two scores in mid-fourth quarter and the Packers recover.
2018 Week 15 vs ARI (7 / 5 / 42 / 0 rec)
He earned nine yards on a hook route for to set up a short gain for a first down on a quarterback sneak by Ryan. A few plays later, he earned a few years on a short route, slipping to the ground while trying to turn up the field. He earned a short target at the right sideline to convert a first down in the middle of the second quarter. He earned a short out for seven yards late in the half to kick off a drive deep in Atlanta's own territory. Ridley dropped a third-down crossing route on 3rd and 15 to begin the second half, leading to a punt.
2018 Week 16 vs CAR (5 / 3 / 90 / 1 rec)
Ryan targeted Ridley while under pressure on an in-breaking route and Ridley took a late hit by Eric Reid and Ridley jammed his leg into the defender while sliding to the ground. Ridley dropped a tough third-and-two pass between a pair of defenders inside the Carolina five. The ball went through his hands, bounced off his chest, and then he took the hit in the back. Calvin Ridley made his first catch streaking up the left sideline for a 75-yard score against a busted Cover 2 zone on the first play of the second half. He gained a few yards on a shallow route on the next drive. He earned a first down on a short hook and dove for the first down on the drive after that.
2018 Week 17 vs TB (5 / 5 / 32 / 1 rec)
Ridley earned a first down on the fourth play of the game, gaining six yards on a short out to the right sideline. Ridley earned a 12-yard comeback on a designed boot to the left in the middle of the second quarter. He took a short route in the flat up the sideline for a near first-down on 2nd and 9 but Austin Hooper's holding penalty nullified another play. Ridley earned a walk-in score to the right flat on a great play design off a play fake to the back while Ridley worked behind the quarterback and then reversed field to the flat. This upped Atlanta's lead to 10 points. He gained two on a short screen to begin a late-game drive, falling backwards to snare the target.
