Game Recaps

2016 Week 4 vs NYG (1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)

Pruitt was barely on the field, and most of the time only there as a blocker. He did have one nice catch and run, as quarterback Sam Bradford dumped him the ball just beyond the line of scrimmage and he turned it upfield for a few extra yards.

2015 Week 3 vs SD (2 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Pruitt got his hands on a downfield target that would have been the biggest gain for the passing game on the day.

2015 Week 4 vs DEN (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Nearly the target of an interception, Pruitt couldn't get separation on the play and when he tried to catch the ball, instead popped it back into the air where a Broncos player nearly caught it. Mostly a blocker, Pruitt has been targeted three times this season but has yet to record a catch.

2015 Week 7 vs DET (1 / 1 / 13 / 0 rec)

Pruitt showed some strength and determination on his one catch, as he was hit immediately as he grabbed the ball. Instead of falling down though, he fought his way through and gained a few extra yards and the first down.

2015 Week 8 vs CHI (3 / 2 / 15 / 0 rec)

Pruitt doesn't get a ton of targets and isn't on the field a tremendous amount, but gets worked in to the offense on occasion. It seems very much like the Vikings have moved away from working the tight ends.

2015 Week 9 vs LA (2 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)

Pruitt didn't see the field much on Sunday, but did make a nice catch on a short out route in the red zone late in the first quarter where he forced his way an extra couple of yards for a first down.

2015 Week 10 vs OAK (2 / 2 / 7 / 0 rec)

Pruitt saw very little action other than as a blocker, though he did see two receptions off check-down dump passes.

2015 Week 11 vs GB (1 / 1 / 8 / 0 rec)

Pruitt was mostly used as one of a rotating group of tight ends and fullbacks to help supplement the offensive line, which was a mess on Sunday. He caught one pass for eight yards deep in the fourth quarter.

2015 Week 14 vs ARI (2 / 2 / 36 / 0 rec)

Pruitt made his few snaps count, most notably on a 32-yard catch with two minutes left in the first half. On the play, Pruitt ran a deep cross which split the defenders and allowed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to deliver the ball to a wide open target. Pruitt had enough of a gap before he reached a defender that was able to add a few yards to the total.

2015 Week 17 vs GB (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Pruitt was the target in the end zone on a Teddy Bridgewater overthrow. Pruitt gained a little separation on the defender and had a lot of room in the end zone, but the pass sailed a little on Bridgewater and the Vikings had to settle for a field goal.
