2008 Week 3 vs SEA (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman was active for this game but did not show up on the stat sheet.
2008 Week 8 vs NE (19 / 83 / 0 rush, 4 / 3 / 22 / 0 rec)
Pittman took over for the injured Steven Jackson and received most of the carries for the Rams. They gave him the ball early in order to establish the running game, with mixed results. He was able to break off a couple of nice runs (12, 18, 17) but the rest were all for very limited yardage. Late in the game, he had his two receptions, both for first downs.
2008 Week 9 vs ARI (10 / 12 / 0 rush, 4 / 4 / 15 / 0 rec)
Pittman started the game but found the running tough against a stout Cardinal defensive front. He finished the game with only 12 yards on ten attempts. His longest run was nine yards. Pittman's four receptions were short passes out of the backfield and only totaled 15 yards. He had no room to run all day long.
2008 Week 10 vs NYJ (13 / 28 / 0 rush, 2 / 2 / 38 / 0 rec)
Pittman was the starter for the injured Steven Jackson. In the passing game, Pittman had a couple of nice scampers on check downs. In the running game, Pittman was not able to gain yards consistently and was held relatively ineffective.
2008 Week 11 vs SF (14 / 95 / 0 rush, 5 / 3 / 4 / 0 rec)
Pittman started for the injured Steven Jackson and ripped off a 24 yard gain on his first carry. He also had a 22 yard run later in the first quarter. Unfortunately the Rams fell way behind, and Pittman had only four carries in the second half. He ran with good power and obviously could have had a big game if the Rams had not become so one dimensional after halftime.
2008 Week 12 vs CHI (9 / 8 / 0 rush, 4 / 3 / 11 / 0 rec)
Pittman had one nice run for 11 yards, however the rest of his carries went for combined negative yards. He finished with nine carries for eight yards.
2008 Week 13 vs MIA (6 / 25 / 0 rush, 2 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman came into the game late and averaged 4.2 yards per attempt subbing for Steven Jackson on a coach's decision, with the game on the line.
2008 Week 14 vs ARI (4 / 26 / 0 rush, 3 / 2 / 41 / 0 rec)
Pittman got most of his 67 total yards from scrimmage in the second half when the game was already decided. His longest rush was nine yards. He took a screen pass 27 yards late in the fourth quarter.
2008 Week 17 vs ATL (2 / 12 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Antonio Pittman was fined $25,000 and benched for last Sunday's game against the 49ers because he skipped the Saturday walk through. While he managed to get out of the dog house he was kept on a short leash. In limited duty Pittman only carried twice for 12 yards and also dropped a third down pass that would have give St. Louis a first down.
2007 Week 6 vs BAL (5 / 11 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman's yardage came strictly from garbage time carries.
2007 Week 7 vs SEA (4 / 8 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman was clearly the third option on the ground, behind Brian Leonard and Travis Minor. Three of his four carries were late in the game when the Rams were far behind.
2007 Week 10 vs NO (7 / 53 / 0 rush, 2 / 1 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman ran 43 yards to the one yard line on the final play of the third quarter. He dived for the pylon but barely missed it. He was given the ball on the very next play but failed to get into the end zone again.
2007 Week 12 vs SEA (5 / 11 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman was the only back other than Jackson to rush the ball for the Rams. He was strictly used to spell Jackson, however.
2007 Week 13 vs ATL (4 / 11 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Pittman was strictly a change of pace back, spelling Jackson when needed. He did contribute with two crucial first down runs in the fourth quarter.
2007 Week 14 vs CIN (2 / 11 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 11 / 0 rec)
Pittman had two carries and a reception, spelling Steven Jackson only occasionally.
2007 Week 15 vs GB (6 / 31 / 0 rush, 5 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Pittman averaged over 5.1 yards per carry filling in for Steven Jackson when he needed a breather. In addition to his rushing duties, he also was targeted five times in the passing game, but all five attempts fell incomplete.
