Recent Game Summaries

2019 Week 17 vs ATL (8 / 5 / 134 / 1 rec - 27.4 points, $6700)

Perriman and Winston connected for a 37 yard gain down the left sideline on Winston's first pass attempt of the game. Perriman got open over the middle for another 19 yard gain at the end of the 1st quarter. Perriman roasted his defender for another 24 yard gain on an early 2nd quarter post route. Tampa Bay got the ball back at the end of the first half with just 54 seconds left, and Perriman pulled in two huge catches, the first a 31 yard gain over the middle, and the second was a 24 yard circus catch in the back of the end zone on a pass that was basically a hail mary from Winston. Perriman made a leaping grab between two defenders and secured the ball with one hand while tapping both feet down in the end zone before his other hand touched down out of bounds. Perriman ripped off another 44 yard gain in the 4th quarter, but had the gain called back because Winston stepped over the line of scrimmage as he was throwing the ball.

2019 Week 16 vs HOU (12 / 7 / 102 / 0 rec - 20.2 points, $6000)

Perriman continues to make the most of his opportunities while Evans and Godwin are out, securing seven of twelve targets this week for over 100 yards. Perriman made an awesome effort on a leaping catch over a defender that picked up 27 yards up the right sideline in the 1st quarter. Perriman had a step on his defender in the end zone but was overthrown by Winston on a deep post route in the 1st quarter. Winston nearly found Perriman for another 32 yard gain up the sideline in the 2nd, but the receiver stepped slightly out of bounds with one foot as he completed the catch. He hauled in a 13 yard gain later in the same drive. Perriman secured another 16 yard gain later in the 4th quarter on a quick slant.

2019 Week 15 vs DET (6 / 5 / 113 / 3 rec, 1 / 3 / 0 rush - 37.6 points, $4500)

Perriman worked as the number two receiver behind Godwin, catching two of his touchdowns before Godwin left with injury in the 3rd quarter and one after. He started his day out with a 22 yard gain on a deep crossing route in the 1st quarter. Perriman split out wide left and scorched his defender for a 34 yard touchdown on a deep post route later in the 1st quarter. Winston found him for a second touchdown midway through the second quarter after Perriman worked his way open on a crossing route while Winston bought time with his feet. Perriman had a step on his defender for a big gain down the right sideline in the 3rd quarter, but Winston overthrew him. Late in the 4th quarter on 3rd and 4, Perriman lined up in the slot in a bunch formation and burned his defender again, catching a third touchdown pass in the back of the end zone for another 25 yard score. The three touchdowns match a season high for Perriman, who should be the number one option for Tampa Bay the next couple of weeks with Justin Watson working as the number two.

2019 Week 14 vs IND (5 / 3 / 70 / 1 rec - 16 points, $3700)

Perriman's first reception was a deft, one-handed snag as he crossed the field and worked open for a scrambling Winston. Perriman was open on a corner route in the end zone in the 4th quarter, but Winston overthrew him as he attempted to evade pressure. Perriman tipped a pass up later in the 4th, resulting in an interception. He made up for it on the next drive with a big 31 yard reception down the right sideline and a touchdown reception on a deep out route three plays later.

2019 Week 13 vs JAX (6 / 5 / 87 / 0 rec - 13.7 points, $3300)

Perriman of all people led the Bucs in receiving this week after being completely forgettable behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin this season. He got loose down the left sideline and made a smooth catch in stride for a 32 yard gain in the 2nd quarter. Perriman ripped off another big gain on a deep crossing route late in the 2nd quarter. Perriman's 87 yards are twice that of his next best performance this season, and he will probably remain irrelevant.

2019 Week 12 vs ATL (1 / 1 / 44 / 0 rec - 5.4 points, $3200)

Perriman worked into the third receiver rotation behind Evans and Godwin. He got open down the right sideline for a deep pass from Winston, picking up 44 yards late in the 2nd quarter on his only target of the game.

2019 Week 10 vs ARI (4 / 2 / 17 / 0 rec - 3.7 points, $3000)

Perriman had a nice catch and run on a bubble screen that picked up 11 yards in the 2nd quarter. Perriman had a step on his defender, but was overthrown on a 2nd quarter deep route. He picked up a few yards on another bubble screen in the 3rd quarter. Perriman got flagged for holding in the 3rd quarter, resulting in a huge play by Chris Godwin being called back.

2019 Week 9 vs SEA (8 / 4 / 42 / 1 rec - 14.2 points, $3000)

Perriman's first reception didn't go anywhere as he was blown up behind the line of scrimmage on a WR bubble screen from the slot. Perriman scored an opportunistic touchdown in the 2nd quarter when a deflected pass came his way in the end zone after Winston tried to force it to a tightly covered Mike Evans. Perriman made a beautiful leaping catch over his back shoulder in the 3rd quarter for an 18 yard gain, his longest play of the day.

2019 Week 8 vs TEN (4 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec - 0 points, $3200)

Perriman had a forgettable performance in week 8. He appeared to mistakenly go into motion on a goal line play in the 2nd quarter as he ran over the ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage and killed the play. Winston hit Perriman in the back corner of the end zone on a two point conversion attempt at the end of the 1st half, but the receiver could not get both feet down inbounds. Fellow receiver Scotty Miller continues to see more snaps in the offense, and could be pushing Perriman down the pecking order.

2019 Week 4 vs LAR (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec - 0 points, $3200)

Perriman injured his hamstring in the 1st quarter and did not return.

2019 Week 3 vs NYG (2 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec, 1 / 13 / 0 rush - 2.9 points, $3100)

Perriman only drew 2 targets as Mike Evans hogged 15 of them for himself. Perriman's only catch was a beauty, as he made a diving catch on a slant route to convert 3rd and 6. Perriman also had a nice carry around left tackle on an end-around toss in the 1st quarter that picked up 13 yards.

2019 Week 2 vs CAR (4 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec - 0 points, $3200)

Perriman was targeted several times, but just couldn't get on the same page as Winston in this one. He had a step on his defender on a post route in the end zone late in the 3rd quarter, but Winston lofted the ball a little too far over his head.

2019 Week 1 vs SF (5 / 2 / 10 / 0 rec - 3 points, $3300)

Perriman started on the outside with Evans and contributed quietly as the third receiver on an offense that wasn't having a great day. He had a nice conversion on 3rd and 5 in the first quarter, snagging an out route and tapping his feet on the way out of bounds. He snagged another short curl route later in the 3rd quarter.
