Game Recaps

2016 Week 3 vs DET (1 / 1 / 13 / 0 rec)

Once Jared Cook was hurt, Perillo saw more work on the field, though it was mostly as a blocker. He did have one catch on a short hitch, which he turned upfield and added another ten yards and a first down.

2016 Week 6 vs DAL (1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)

Perillo has been thrust into a bigger role with the injury to Jared Cook, but was mostly used as a blocker.

2016 Week 9 vs IND (2 / 2 / 18 / 0 rec)

Perillo was mostly in for pass blocking, though he did catch a pair of balls as well.

2016 Week 10 vs TEN (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Perillo saw just one target, coming in the third quarter. While the throw was low, Perillo had his hands on it and should have caught it. In slow motion on the replay, you could see his hands were awkwardly and incorrectly positioned, which is why he dropped it.

2015 Week 6 vs SD (2 / 1 / 21 / 0 rec)

The tight end made a nice diving catch early in the second quarter and was targeted in the end zone, but was well covered on the play. Richard Rodgers continues to be the true tight end option for this offense, but Perillo looks like someone to watch. If nothing else, it proves that Rodgers will throw to anyone, at any time.

2015 Week 10 vs DET (6 / 5 / 58 / 1 rec)

The second-string tight end saw a massive surge in his snaps (17 from 6), targets (5 after 0,1,1) and naturally yards. Most of his targets came in the fourth quarter, and it was at that time that Perillo made his best catch of the day. On the play, Perillo ran a tight end seam route down the middle of the field, but remained pretty well covered. Rodgers delivered a great pass just over the heads of the defenders and Perillo jumped up and snatched the ball out of the air. Perillo also caught what could have been the game-tying touchdown, had the Packers converted the 2-point try afterwards. On the play, Perillo got behind the defenders while running a deep in route, and Rodgers delivered the ball to him for the score.

2015 Week 12 vs CHI (2 / 2 / 9 / 0 rec)

Perillo had a pair of catches in the second half but his biggest contribution was drawing a pass interference penalty which netted the team 20 yards.

2015 Week 14 vs DAL (1 / 1 / 3 / 0 rec)

Perillo saw just one target, near the end of the first half and spent most of his 13 snaps blocking.

2015 Week 15 vs OAK (1 / 1 / 5 / 0 rec)

Perillo had just one catch, though it was for a first down. On the play, Aaron Rodgers was struck scrambling as his receivers were well covered. Perillo kept his route going, finally crossing the field alone as the defender covering him slowed in case Rodgers tried to run for the first. That slight gap was enough for Rodgers to deliver the ball to Perillo and for the tight end to get the first down.
