Game Recaps

2013 Week 16 vs ATL (1 / 1 / 17 / 0 rec)

Though primarily used on special teams, Osgood did have a long catch where Kaepernick stood in the pocket with time before heaving a pass towards Osgood, who had found space in the zone over the middle.

2011 Week 2 vs NYJ (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Osgood saw just one target in the middle of the third quarter--a short pass to the right side--but was unable to come down with the ball.

2011 Week 14 vs TB (6 / 3 / 23 / 0 rec)

Osgodd made a good catch on a 2 yard pass that was out his feet. He also ran a good route on a sideline hitch in the 2 minute drill. He was injured on special teams but returned, and made his worst play of the day. Gabbert hung him out to dry a little on the two yard line and Osgood clearly took his eyes off the ball, dropping it just before he was leveled.

2011 Week 17 vs IND (2 / 2 / 19 / 0 rec)

Osgood, who primarily plays on special teams, had a nice reception for eighteen yards. On the play, Osgood ran an out pattern then made a few defenders miss in the open field. Osgood didn't have too many snaps but he made the most of his playing time.

2010 Week 1 vs DEN (1 / 1 / 24 / 1 rec)

Osgood used his size to shield Brian Dawkins from the ball in flight on the game-winning TD, but he was not a big plan of the game plan otherwise.

2010 Week 4 vs IND (1 / 1 / 3 / 0 rec)

Caught a ball on the opening drive for Jacksonville and was not targeted the rest of the day. Jacksonville doesn't run a lot of 3 and 4 WR sets so his upside is very limited.

2010 Week 11 vs CLE (4 / 2 / 22 / 0 rec)

Osgood caught a few out patterns and even forced a fumble on one of the many interceptions the Jags allowed, but he lacks the playmaking ability to have fantasy value, even in an expanded role with Mike Sims-Walker out.

2010 Week 12 vs NYG (3 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)

Osgood's only catch was for a first down, and he ran a nice route, short in order to pick up the yards the team needed for a first down. He was also called for an offensive pass interference penalty which wiped out a Mike Thomas 23 yard reception when the Jags were trying to drive in the fourth. He then followed that up immediately with a dropped pass.

2009 Week 17 vs WAS (5 / 1 / 17 / 0 rec)

The special teams ace had a few catches and looked strong, but not quick or fast after the grab.

2006 Week 15 vs KC (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

Osgood only had one look, the first of the second half.

2005 Week 5 vs PIT (1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)

Osgood had one reception for six yards.
