WR Kevin Norwood - Free Agent
|6-2, 198||Born: 9-23-1989||College: Alabama||Drafted: Round 4, pick 123 (2014)|
2014 Week 8 vs CAR (2 / 2 / 13 / 0 rec)
Norwood caught a short catch over the middle in the first quarter, which was just shy of a first down. And then did a good job hanging on to the ball in tight coverage for his second catch, a quick turn-around for the 10 yard first down. Norwood had been recovering from an injury and with Percy Harvin gone, is now seeing an opportunity to impress.Willson came down with the game winning catch, which was a nice play on his part, and showed what he is capable of. He found a seam down the middle of the field and brought in the well thrown ball even though the defender was just behind, just before crossing the goal line. Problem is, as in most games for Willson, he had another, equally embarrassing play as well. Earlier in the game, he made a great play to get open while Russell Wilson scrambled in the red zone. Wilson threw a perfect ball that Willson seemed to catch near the goal line, but then got hit and couldn't hold on.fw
2014 Week 9 vs OAK (1 / 1 / 19 / 0 rec)
Norwood saw time in the second half, in which he made his only catch. He also caught a 12 yard bullet, but it was brought back on a penalty. It looks like they want him to be their WR4 on the depth chart, but even so that means he's 6th in the pecking order (behind the RB and TE) when it comes to looks from the quarterback.
2014 Week 12 vs ARI (2 / 1 / 10 / 0 rec)
Norwood had a nice 10 yard grab in the third quarter, and later was targeted on a flea flicker streak but was simply beaten by cornerback Patrick Peterson, who somehow caught up to him while the ball sailed toward them.
2014 Week 14 vs PHI (2 / 2 / 22 / 0 rec)
The rookie caught a crossing route for a first down in the second quarter to get Seattle into Philadelphia's territory midfield. It was only his sixth catch of the season.
