|6-0, 208||Born: 4-15-1996||College: Ohio State||Drafted: Round 3, pick 76 (2019)|
2019 Week 1 vs PHI (7 / 5 / 125 / 1 rec)
Terry McLaurin had his way with the Eagles secondary today. His speed was alarming as a lid-lifter in Gruden's offense. Terry was able to get behind the defense for a sixty-eight yard bomb in the first half as he burned the Eagles on a deep post route. Case overthrew him on a potential 2nd touchdown in the third quarter. He had five total receptions which indicates he may be a player the count on moving forward. His speed and explosive ability downfield will be utilized to offset the intermediate passing game. The coaching staff did a good job scheming up deep shots to him. Today proved he can be dangerous as a deep threat for Washington's offense.
2019 Week 2 vs DAL (9 / 5 / 62 / 1 rec)
Terry McLaurin looks to be Washington's top target in the passing game. He has the most targets today with nine and Case made a decisive effort to look his way. He was only able to haul in five of those eight receptions and much of his production came when the game was decided. Including the touchdown, he scored. Washington dialed up a couple of deep shots for him today but couldn't connect.
2019 Week 3 vs CHI (8 / 6 / 70 / 1 rec)
Terry McLaurin scored a touchdown for his third consecutive game on Monday night. He had six receptions on eight targets. His eight targets were second most on the team. It seems the trust is growing weekly as demonstrated by the difficulty in Terry's touchdown grab. Case threw the ball up between what seemed to be two defenders. Terry showed off his strong hands and ability to catch in traffic to secure the score. It looked like he was mainly a deep threat, but this shows that maybe he is more complete than many believed.
2019 Week 5 vs NE (7 / 3 / 51 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin lead the team in total yardage and tied for the lead in targets with seven. Terry only managed to catch three of his targets as he came down with a couple of chunk gains. Patriots made sure not to let him get deep and with the shaky protection upfront he wasn't able to shake free on scramble plays. He is an explosive receiver as you can see even a limited duty.
2019 Week 6 vs MIA (7 / 4 / 100 / 2 rec)
Terry McLaurin lead the Redskins in yardage, targets, and scored the only two touchdowns for them today. He caught four of his seven targets and beat coverage easily both times for touchdowns. It was impressive for Terry to cash in on two of his four targets for touchdowns with the team going to a more run based offense. It's doubtful they will be able to stay with that most weeks which means bigger games could be on the horizon for Terry. His speed is a difference-maker for the Redskins offense. His second touchdown looked like a missed assignment, but he ran directly past the defensive back on a streak for a thirty-three-yard score.
2019 Week 7 vs SF (2 / 1 / 11 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin had one catch for eleven yards. He was only targeted twice as the passing game was basically non-existent in the adverse weather conditions.
2019 Week 8 vs MIN (6 / 4 / 39 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin was on his way to a productive night but once Case Keenum went down his involvement was minimal. Terry record three receptions in the first half and showed great route running to gain separation in coverage. His speed has started to put defensive backs on their heels. Terry was targeted twice in the second half and was missed badly over the middle on a potential reception. Playing with the backup quarterback in the second half diminished any opportunity for a big game.
2019 Week 9 vs BUF (6 / 4 / 39 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin had four receptions on six targets against Buffalo. Many of his targets were on shorter routes as the passing game was limited with Dwayne running the offense. Terry does well after the catch, but his best attribute is his deep speed. It is unlikely the Redskins will be able to maximize his abilities with Dwayne at quarterback. The offensively mindset has flipped to "run-first" with the new coaching staff which has also capped his production.
2019 Week 11 vs NYJ (4 / 3 / 69 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin got back on track a little bit in this game showing some chemistry with Dwayne Haskins. He tallied three receptions for sixty-nine yards on four targets. Terry could have had an even bigger day if a deep pass didn't get called back. It is evident he is by far Washington's best receiver and if he can continue to build chemistry with Dwayne, that will pay off well moving forward.
2019 Week 12 vs DET (12 / 5 / 72 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin was targeted a season high twelve times but Dwayne struggled connected with his top receiver. Terry was open for a touchdown in the first quarter but the ball was badly overthrown. He was open for several chunk plays that the quarterback couldn't connect on. However, he did haul in the biggest reception late in the fourth quarter to set up the game winning field goal. Terry constantly got seperation in covergae but only managed five receptions. If Dwayne get on track with Terry this offense can make a significant leap late in the season.
2019 Week 13 vs CAR (4 / 2 / 8 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin was largely kept quiet in this game, but the opportunities were there for a bigger game in the box score. An end zone target was thrown too late by Dwayne Haskins for McLaurin to haul in; he was already over the back line of the end zone by the time he hauled it in. The two failed to link up later in the game on a deep pass down the left sideline, the ball slipping through the receiver's hands. His best catch came on a short reception between a closing cornerback and safety, going high to snag it.
2019 Week 14 vs GB (7 / 4 / 57 / 1 rec)
Terry McLaurin had one of the two touchdowns scored today. It was an incredible grab as the pass was behind him and he hauled it in with one hand between two defenders. Terry caught four of his seven targets and should have had a bigger day. One bad drop and a few off-target throws limited his production. Terry had no problem getting separation in coverage but as Dwayne continues his development Terry's abilities won't be at full bloom.
2019 Week 15 vs PHI (5 / 5 / 130 / 1 rec)
Terry McLaurin caught all five of his targets for a total of one hundred and thirty yards. His biggest catch came on a seventy-five-yard touchdown in the first quarter. His speed is elite but the suddenness he showed after the catch was just as impressive. Aside of the long touchdown, he wasn't as impactful although he did have a couple of catches resulting in first downs. The chemistry between him and the quarterback seems to be improving as this was the first time all year they connected on all targets. Today was a perfect example that if Washington can get Terry the ball then good things will happen.
2019 Week 16 vs NYG (9 / 7 / 86 / 0 rec)
Terry McLaurin caught seven of his nine targets and led the team in catches. Terry had a chance to have an even bigger day, but Dwayne overthrew him in the first quarter. TerryÕs biggest catch of the day came late in the fourth quarter as they were driving to tie the game. He caught a contested out route pass that kept the WashingtonÕs offense on the field. Terry had no problem getting open throughout this game. He didnÕt score but maintained involvement throughout this game.
