WR Ricardo Lockette - Free Agent
|6-2, 211||Born: 5-21-1986||College: Fort Valley State||Drafted: ---|
2015 Week 6 vs CAR (2 / 2 / 43 / 1 rec)
Wide receiver Ricardo Lockette is not an impact player in fantasy with just four total targets on the season but his 40-yard touchdown reception was impressive in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. Off of a back yard football flea flicker, Russell Wilson went deep to Lockette where he showed a willingness to fight for the ball for the touchdown. He leaped into the air and was able to grab the football over the head of the Panthers defender for the score.
2014 Week 1 vs GB (3 / 2 / 38 / 1 rec)
Lockette did not play many snaps but he sure made them count. On his 33 yard score, he was wide open but still had to shed one tackler on his way to the end zone. He was also a deep target (and made a good leap for it!), but really didn't have a chance on the slightly overthrown ball.
2014 Week 2 vs SD (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec, 1 / 2 / 0 rush)
Lockette was on the field occasionally, and Wilson was not afraid to target him. However, he dropped a sure thing pass (albeit, in traffic) early on and did not factor in after that.
2014 Week 3 vs DEN (1 / 1 / 39 / 1 rec)
Lockette is seeing more prominent action, but is still part of a rotation and so his number of opportunities are extremely limited. He did a very nice job of hauling in a deep pass in the end zone. Lockette was tightly covered but was able to use his height and tracked the ball perfectly for the catch.
2014 Week 6 vs DAL (1 / 1 / 8 / 0 rec)
Lockette barely saw the field, with one short catch to show on the day.
2014 Week 8 vs CAR (2 / 2 / 22 / 0 rec)
Lockette was consistent as usual, catching both targets. And, as usual, that's all he saw. One of which was an easy short catch on a 3rd & 18 (he gained 10).
2014 Week 10 vs NYG (2 / 1 / 16 / 0 rec)
Lockette ran a medium slant for first down, but it wasn't until the fourth quarter that he was targeted at all.
2014 Week 12 vs ARI (1 / 1 / 48 / 0 rec)
Lockette only had one opportunity, and he made it count. He got very open downfield for a big gain early in the game.
2014 Week 14 vs PHI (1 / 1 / 19 / 0 rec)
The young, athletic receiver committed an Illegal block in the third series on an end around to Jermaine Kearse for five yards and it nullified the gain. His best play was a back-shoulder throw up the left seam in the late third quarter for 19 yards.
2014 Week 16 vs ARI (2 / 2 / 5 / 0 rec)
Lockette made a short first down catch early in the game, but then disappeared until his second catch in garbage time. In the absence of Jermaine Kearse, Lockette did not factor in.
2014 Week 20 vs GB (2 / 2 / 25 / 0 rec, 1 / 4 / 0 rush)
Lockette was the fill in for the injured Paul Richardson. He made a couple of impressive catches, as well as a gutsy move to gain positive yardage on a broken reverse. Though he looked good, his role was minimal, especially given the anemic offensive numbers Seattle put up until near the end of the game.
2013 Week 11 vs MIN (1 / 1 / 27 / 0 rec)
Lockette did a nice job finding open space as Wilson scrambled, for his only catch (RZ). He's firmly entrenched as the 5th on the WR depth chart.
2013 Week 13 vs NO (1 / 1 / 33 / 0 rec, 1 / -2 / 0 rush)
Lockette made a great catch on a long sideline fade, showing great concentration as he slid out of bounds with the ball on his fingertips. He also took a reverse handoff but got nowhere. Lockette got more snaps in the 4th quarter, as the Seahawks held on to a large lead.
2013 Week 15 vs NYG (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Lockette's only chance was on a deep pass while covered. He did not even go up for it and it was easily intercepted.
2013 Week 16 vs ARI (1 / 1 / 9 / 0 rec)
Lockette was involved early on, with a first down catch, a quick slant. But that would be his only opportunity in what turned out to be a close game in which the starters were rarely rested.
2013 Week 17 vs STL (1 / 1 / 8 / 0 rec)
Lockette caught one short pass but was tackled quickly, and wasn't able to get upfield and show off his speed.
2011 Week 17 vs ARI (2 / 1 / 61 / 1 rec)
Lockette made his only catch a big one. It was a deep ball caught in stride while covered, and he showed great concentration as he one-handed it and then juggled the ball into the end zone. Lockette had one more chance in OT but was overthrown.
