TE Jordan Leggett - Denver Broncos
|6-5, 258||Born: 1-31-1995||College: Clemson||Drafted: Round 5, pick 150 (2017)|
2018 Week 4 vs JAX (4 / 3 / 13 / 1 rec)
Leggett had a nice grab across the middle to set up a third and short, and had the lone Jets touchdown on the day. On that play, it seemed as though the short coverage for the Jaguars assumed the safety would take over coverage of Leggett but nobody did. Leggett had an easy time snagging in the throw from rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.
2018 Week 5 vs DEN (1 / 1 / 10 / 0 rec)
Leggett made one catch on a short out route to the right of the formation, but was otherwise used as a blocker.
2018 Week 9 vs MIA (2 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Leggett is primarily a blocker, and he and fellow blocking tight end Eric Tomlinson aren't asked to do more than that.
2018 Week 10 vs BUF (1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Leggett continues to hold value as a blocker, and only marginally. He's not on the field much, and is only thrown to as an emergency release valve.
2018 Week 12 vs NE (4 / 2 / 24 / 0 rec)
Leggett did a nice job hauling in a pair of long catches, but isn't on the field much, showing up on just 17 of the Jets' 64 offensive snaps. As Chris Herndon has proven himself as a blocker, the other tight ends are seeing less field time.
2018 Week 13 vs TEN (2 / 2 / 18 / 0 rec)
Leggett continues to be a blocker first and foremost, though he did have a really nice 14-yard catch and run called back due to an illegal block in the third quarter. Josh McCown went back to him eight plays later on the same drive for an 8-yard play which gained enough for a first down.
2018 Week 14 vs BUF (2 / 1 / 13 / 0 rec)
Leggett continues to only really be on the field for a fraction of the offensive plays, and then mostly as a blocker.
2018 Week 15 vs HOU (1 / 1 / 8 / 0 rec)
Leggett made a nice catch on a 1st-and-15 near the end of the second quarter but was only on the field 35 percent of the offensive plays and even then, usually only as a blocker.
2018 Week 16 vs GB (1 / 1 / 9 / 0 rec)
Leggett's one catch came late in the game as the Jets were trying to sap the clock. For the most part he continues to be primarily a blocker and even then, was not used much on offensive.
2018 Week 17 vs NE (4 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Leggett continues to be a last-ditch option on offense and primarily a blocker. He was on the field for over half the offensive snaps this week, but was only a rare target for Sam Darnold.
