Our View: The veteran pass rusher has made this known for about a year. Lawrence signed the franchise tag last year and is waiting for a long-term deal. The last day for franchise tags to be used is March 5.

Our View: Franchise tagging Lawrence for a second year in a row would be expensive, but the Cowboys have around $55 million in cap space for 2019 at this time. With Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper almost ready to be extended, the Cowboys could run out of cap space real quick.
