Recent Game Summaries
2019 Week 10 vs PIT (4 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec - 0 points, $8100)
Kupp was a surprising no-show for the Rams' box score in Week 10 as the Rams offense stumbled to a low-scoring road loss to Pittsburgh. Kupp dropped two passes of note, including one in the red zone and failed to create separation throughout the game. Kupp did draw two defensive pass interference penalties beyond the box score amidst his forgettable output.
2019 Week 8 vs CIN (10 / 7 / 220 / 1 rec - 31.5 points, $7700)
Kupp logged his fifth 100-yard game of the season with a new career-high 220 yards. Kupp found wide-open zones of the defense regularly to fuel yards-after-the-catch for massive chunks of yardage. Among Kupp's highlights included adjusting to a throw behind him on a third down, a trick play 65-yard touchdown, and converting a well-covered deep ball target from Jared Goff. Kupp added a rare drop in the game to thwart an even bigger performance. As a centerpiece in the Rams passing game, Kupp is on pace for more than 1,500 yards this season and more than 110 receptions with a conducive schedule after the Rams' Week 9 bye.
2019 Week 7 vs ATL (8 / 6 / 50 / 0 rec - 8 points, $7800)
Kupp has cooled since his three-game stretch of monster performances in Weeks 3-5. Kupp collected eight targets, most among the Rams' trio of central wide receivers, but was held in check by the otherwise questionable Atlanta defense. Kupp converted a third-and-long with a strong throw by Jared Goff on a deep in-cut route and turned a screen pass into more than 10 yards, However, Kupp was stuffed on his lone touchdown opportunity, a red zone screen pass.
2019 Week 6 vs SF (6 / 4 / 17 / 0 rec - 3.7 points, $7800)
Kupp led the team with six targets against the 49ers in the sound loss to their divisional rival. However, Kupp was stifled on his typical screen and short-range routes which rely on yard-after-the-catch acumen. Kupp added a fourth-down drop to his forgettable day, a lost effort for the entire offense. The Falcons offer a bounce-back matchup in Week 7.
2019 Week 5 vs SEA (17 / 9 / 117 / 1 rec - 22.2 points, $6800)
Kupp had a quiet first quarter against Seattle but exploded over the rest of the game for his fourth straight 100-yard game game and adding his fourth touchdown over the past three contests. Kupp's target volume has been unstoppable as well with 63 over five games, including a season-high 17 this week alone. Kupp had three catches late in the fourth quarter alone and his touchdown came on a laser red zone throw by Jared Goff to close the first half on a high note. Kupp separated from coverage with easy on short-to-intermediate routes and was an after-the-catch maven.
2019 Week 4 vs TB (15 / 9 / 121 / 1 rec, 1 / -2 / 0 rush - 22.4 points, $7000)
Kupp surged in volume, along with the rising tide of the Rams voluminous passing game against Tampa Bay, to a season-high 15 targets and 121 yards. Kupp was uncheckable by defensive backs and produced three massive plays for 20 or more yards, including two for chunks of yards-after-the-catch and a long touchdown. Kupp has three 100-yard games in a row and if the Rams defense continues to struggle like they did against the Buccaneers, Kupp's elite target level will be stable going forward.
2019 Week 3 vs CLE (12 / 11 / 102 / 2 rec - 27.7 points, $6900)
Kupp was uncoverable against the Browns, dominating all sections of the field. Kupp's lone missed target was an outright drop, otherwise being a automatic positive play when Jared Goff looked his direction. Kupp's array of receptions included an inside screen, multiple deep crossing routes, and two wide open touchdowns, his first of the season. Kupp has yet to see fewer than nine targets in a game this season and has looked outstanding following his 2018 season-ending injury.
2019 Week 2 vs NO (9 / 5 / 120 / 0 rec, 1 / 6 / 0 rush - 15.1 points, $6800)
Kupp nearly doubled any other Rams' passing game target in the Week 2 win over the Saints. Kupp looked far more comfortable than his lack-of-yards-after-catch effort in Week 1, his first game back from injury. Kupp made a diving reception over the middle, plus two highlight runs and a myriad of missed tackles down to the goal line, essentially a game-clinching play for the Drew Brees-less Saints. Kupp has yet to find the end zone but his 12 receptions over two games and after-catch uptick in Week 2 are positive signs to start the season.
2019 Week 1 vs CAR (10 / 7 / 46 / 0 rec - 8.1 points, $6800)
Kupp's offensive involvement against the Panthers, his first game back from injury in 2018, was front-loaded to the early moments. Kupp had four receptions on the opening drive alone, adding two third-down conversions later in the game to bolster his volume-infused stat line. Kupp's targets were all close to the line of scrimmage and Kupp offered minimal yards-after-the-catch opportunity on his receptions.
