WR Jake Kumerow - Buffalo Bills
|6-4, 209||Born: 2-17-1992||College: Wisconsin-Whitewater||Drafted: ---|
2019 Week 2 vs MIN (1 / 1 / 12 / 0 rec)
Kumerow's one reception came on a third and 28 that was basically a play to set up a safer punt.
2019 Week 7 vs OAK (2 / 2 / 54 / 1 rec)
Kumerow tightroped the sideline for a score to close the first half and left Gareon Conley grasping at air on an excellent route that might have helped the Raiders decide to have Conley walk the plank after the game. Kumerow looks capable of contributing fantasy relevant numbers if injuries push him into the lineup.
2019 Week 15 vs CHI (1 / 1 / 49 / 0 rec)
Jake Kumerow caught one pass for 49 yards on one target in the Packers win over the Bears on Sunday. Kumerow didn't see a whole lot of playing time in this game but he did come up big when given an opportunity. With the Packers facing a third and four from the Bears 40 yard line, Rodgers took the snap out of the shotgun and looked for Kumerow on an intermediate pass along the right sideline. Kumerow made the catch and then hit the breaks hard as a Bears defender came up to try and tackle him. Kumerow faked him out and then took off down the right sideline where he was met by three Chicago defenders who tried to tackle him. Kumerow shook them off with a spin move and was able to pick up another 15 yards before being tackled at the Bears 11 yard line. This play set up Jones second touchdown run and ended up being the points that the Packers needed to win the game.
2019 Week 16 vs MIN (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Jake Kumerow failed to catch a pass on his only target of the game against the Vikings. After the Packers coaches remarked that Kumerow would see an increased role moving forward, he became an afterthought just like Marquez Valdes-Scalding (one catch on one target) and Geronimo Allison (zero catches on two targets, albeit with a two point conversion).
