2018 Week 6 vs ATL (4 / 4 / 62 / 1 rec)
Howard came back from a brief absence for an MCL sprain and did not appear limited at all. He scored at the end of the 2nd quarter, lining up in line on the right side of the formation and working his way across the field against physical coverage from a linebacker. It would be his last catch of the day as the Washington defense completely shut down the Bucs tight ends in the receiving game. Howard was the target on Fitzpatrick's second interception, but the fault lies with the QB, who didn't see a defensive back coming behind Howard to undercut the route he was running up the seam.
2018 Week 11 vs NYG (6 / 5 / 78 / 0 rec)
Howard continues to be as efficient a target as you'll find, securing 5 of his 6 targets, which were second on the team behind Evans and Jackson(7 each). He did not find the end zone this week. Howard turned up the sideline and hit the jets, and Winston dropped a deep ball to him in the end zone without a defender anywhere in sight. The Bucs coaching staff does a great job of getting Howard uncovered with misdirection, and his athleticism and speed make him a big play waiting to happen anytime the defense slips up.
2017 Week 8 vs CAR (2 / 2 / 16 / 0 rec)
Howard caught a tight end screen in the 2nd and flashed some serious speed as he turned upfield. A diving effort from Luke Kuechley kept him from picking up a much bigger gain. Howard scored again on the very next drive, catching a tight end screen behind the line of scrimmage and showing some serious athleticism as he burst down the field for the touchdown. Unfortunately, the play was called back for an illegal block-in-the back penalty. Howard had a bad drop on a deep post that would have gone for a big gain in the 2nd quarter.
