Week 15: at Arizona Cardinals
FBG says: Great matchup. The Cleveland Browns passing attack continues to disappoint in 2019, as Baker Mayfield has taken a step back following his rookie season instead of the step forward many had hoped for and projected. Head coach and play-caller Freddie Kitchens has seemingly done this offense no favors, as he seems overwhelmed now that he is in charge of the entire operation. At wide receiver, Mayfield's top two targets are obvious, with Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham, Jr. dominating across the board with team-leading numbers at targets, receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. Landry's role in the offense has grown over the last month, as he leads the team in all four of those metrics, and all signs point to him continuing as the team's number-one receiver down the stretch. Tight end David Njoku returned last weekend after a lengthy stint on the injured reserve, and although he did not impress in his first game back, a soft matchup against the Arizona Cardinals could ease him back into action this weekend. Arizona's pass defense has been equally as miserable this season as they were last season. In 2019, they rank dead-last in passing yardage allowed, passing touchdowns allowed, and fourth-to-last in net yards per attempt allowed through the air. Aside from edge rusher Chandler Jones, who ranks 2nd in the NFL with 14 sacks to his name this season, there is little to be excited about with this defense. The rest of the defensive front offers little support rushing the quarterback, and their linebackers are horrific in pass coverage. Jordan Hicks and Hasson Reddick are a leading reason that the Cardinals rank dead-last in the NFL in fantasy points allowed per game to opposing tight ends. Lastly, in the secondary, Budda Baker, who is capable of defending the slot as well as playing safety, is the only above-average pass defender in the unit. Even veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson, who missed the early part of the season due to a suspension, has struggled since returning to the fold in 2019. Overall, this is a dismal pass defending unit, and if Baker Mayfield and the Browns cannot piece together a strong day through the air this weekend, it could signal significant long-term problems for Cleveland.

Recent Game Summaries
2019 Week 12 vs MIA (2 / 2 / 20 / 0 rec)
Harris made just two catches in the game, an eight-yard catch in the second quarter and a 12-yarder in the fourth. He also drew a red zone target in the fourth quarter near the Miami goal line. He failed to make the diving catch but drew a personal foul penalty on the play which set the Browns up for a field goal.
2019 Week 10 vs BUF (2 / 2 / 28 / 0 rec)
Harris made just two catches in the game but both were big plays for his team. They also both came on the same drive in the first quarter. He hauled in a 12-yard sliding catch on third-and-10 and then followed that up with a 16-yard catch and run on fourth-and-one to keep the drive going. Harris will see more playing time while Ricky Seals-Jones is out but he is not a major part of the Cleveland passing attack.
2019 Week 9 vs DEN (4 / 3 / 25 / 0 rec)
Harris was busy in the first half, catching two passes, a 12-yarder in the first quarter and a four-yard gain in the second. He also came close to scoring a touchdown in the second quarter as Baker Mayfield found him at the back of the end zone. Unfortunately, he was too deep in the end zone and ran out of room when he landed. Harris came back to catch a nine-yard pass in the third quarter. Fellow tight end Ricky Seals-Jones took a direct hit on the knee during the second quarter and did not return. If Seals-Jones winds up missing time, it would benefit Harris.
2019 Week 8 vs NE (3 / 2 / 33 / 1 rec)
Harris had his best game as a Brown in Week 8 against the Patriots. He caught the team's lone touchdown, a 21-yard strike from Baker Mayfield in the second quarter. Harris got open near the end zone and was able to twist his body to cross the goal line before his defender was able to get a hit on him. In the third quarter, Harris got a step on his defender down the left sideline. Mayfield saw him but his pass was underthrown, hitting Harris' defender in the back of the helmet. The tight end's other catch was a 12-yard gain down the middle of the field. Harris and Ricky Seals-Jones have been alternating solid fantasy performances, making it difficult to guess who will have a big game in any given week.
2019 Week 5 vs SF (2 / 1 / 0 / 0 rec)
Harris was quiet in this one, but at least he was targeted after not recording a stat in Week 4. His only catch came behind the line of scrimmage and went for no gain. Later, he drew an end zone target but a defender tipped away the ball on what would have been a challenging, over-the-shoulder grab.
2019 Week 3 vs LAR (2 / 1 / 2 / 1 rec)
Harris saw just two targets but both came in the end zone. He got wide open in the back of the end zone for a two-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. Baker Mayfield went back to him in the end zone in the fourth quarter but Harris couldn't come down with the ball. He leapt up and got his hands on the high pass but was unable to secure the catch. It wouldn't have been an easy grab but the ball did look catchable. It is clear that the Browns want to use Harris' big frame when they get in close to the goal line.
2019 Week 2 vs NYJ (1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Harris caught just one pass, a four-yarder during the first quarter. He presumably would become a bigger part of the offense if the concussed David Njoku is unable to play against the Rams in Week 3 but the Browns didn't use him much even after Njoku left in Week 2.
