There's more to DaeSean Hamilton's game than what he showed as a rookie. Coming out of Penn State last year as the Nittany Lions all-time leading receiver, Hamilton only flashed a little bit as a rookie for the Broncos. Hamilton is a great route runner and does not tip off where he's going before he makes his break. He also has good hands and concentration when passes are coming in on underneath routes. Hamilton can snare passes on the run, gathering them in as he turns upfield to run. He caught 30 passes as a rookie and may not get that many more this season. The Broncos have Courtland Sutton and Emmanuel Sanders to lead the way at the receiver position and in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft they added pass-catching tight end Noah Fant. Add in running back Phillip Lindsay as a receiver out of the backfield and Hamilton is fifth in the pass-catching pecking order at best. (May 6)

Broncos | DaeSean Hamilton limited by knee late in 2018 (Tue May 21, 03:21 PM) - Denver Broncos WR DaeSean Hamilton spent much of his offseason training in Florida to increase his weight and improve himself physically after struggling with a knee injury near the end of his rookie season, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic. Hamilton added his knee feels 'great' now.

Our View: Hamilton is a great route runner and is looking to make an impact as Denver's no.3 wide receiver. Courtland Sutton should be the leading receiver for the Broncos with Emmanuel Sanders (when healthy) working as a quality no.2 receiver. That doesn't leave much for Hamilton, especially considering TE Noah Fant could catch quite a few passes this season. Continue to monitor or roster Hamilton in dynasty formats while he works for a larger opportunity.
