WR Marques Hagans - Washington Football Team
|5-9, 202||Born: 12-29-1982||College: Virginia||Drafted: Round 5, pick|
2008 Week 2 vs OAK (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec, 1 / 2 / 0 rush)
Hagans was a part of the Chiefs apparent "Musical Quarterbacks" strategy, implemented after Damon Huard's injury. Thigpen and Hagans rotated somewhat randomly, subbing in for each other within the same offensive series'. Hagans, normally the fifth string wideout, completed his only pass attempt, but for the most part spent his time under centre scrambling away from the Raiders pass rush. Hagans actually saw the field more as quarterback. Early in the game he caught a seven yard pass that was called back due to a penalty.
2008 Week 3 vs ATL (1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Hagans was targeted only once, for a short first down.
2007 Week 6 vs BAL (10 / 5 / 74 / 0 rec, 2 / -4 / 0 rush)
Hagans stepped in once Bennett went down, and ended up the most targeted Rams receiver on the day. He had a good showing overall and proved he could get open, but was inconsistent catching the ball.
2007 Week 7 vs SEA (4 / 2 / 16 / 0 rec)
Hagans did not make an impact as the Rams third receiver. He made one clutch grab in the third quarter for a first down, but otherwise was a non-factor.
