From the upgrade/downgrade report (Mon Oct 14): Goedert was as productive and targeted almost as much as Zach Ertz in the loss to Minnesota. This might not be the start of a trend, but if it is, Goedert has streamer value and he's worth a shot against Dallas this week.

Recent Game Summaries

2019 Week 5 vs NYJ (3 / 1 / 11 / 0 rec - 2.1 points, $2900)

Goedert continued to simmer in Week 5, collecting three targets which remains a season high for the ancillary tight end. Goedert did have a drop and two receptions called back by penalty beyond the box score. His lone catch to make the log was a short catch Goedert turned into a decent gain after the catch. With a collection of weapons and DeSean Jackson inching his way back to active status by the week, it is tough to project when Goedert will be more involved in the Eagles' game plan.

2019 Week 4 vs GB (3 / 2 / 16 / 1 rec - 9.6 points, $2800)

Goedert has had a minimal role in the Eagles offense through four games, but Goedert was back to full health against the Packers and converted his two key receptions. One was a red zone screen for 10+ yards. Another was Goedert winning as a split-out receiver against a defensive back on a slant route with ease for a goal-line touchdown. While the targets have been minimal to-date, Goedert's ability to create mismatches and be a red zone weapon were prevalent this week.

2019 Week 1 vs WAS (3 / 2 / 16 / 0 rec - 3.6 points, $2900)

Goedert saw a mere three targets against Washington, buried among the strong skill position players for the Eagles in the passing game. Goedert absorbed a big hit on a deep sideline target which he could not corral and showed a quality stiff arm for yards-after-the-catch on his notable reception. Goedert is a tough projection for his weekly involvement without a Zach Ertz injury.

Eagles | Five receptions for Dallas Goedert (Sun Oct 13, 05:48 PM) - Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught five passes for 48 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Our View: Goedert is at least in the desperation play zone now with a high target volume in a play from behind game script. He mostly remains on our radar because of his Zach Ertz injury upside.
