Week 12: vs Denver Broncos

All WR vs DEN

FBG says: Tough matchup. Josh Allen continues to lead a low volume Bills passing offense focusing on short-to-intermediate routes while leaning more on their ground game and defense than anything else. Allen struggled with turnovers earlier in the season, throwing more interceptions (7) than touchdowns (5) in the five games prior to their Week 6 bye. In the five games since, Allen has thrown zero interceptions and eight touchdowns, including his first three-touchdown game last week. John Brown continues to be the top target for this offense, garnering double-digit targets in back-to-back weeks. Brown has been a model of consistency, finishing with over 50 receiving yards in all 10 games. In his last five games, Brown has actually exceeded 75 receiving yards in four of five outings while scoring three times--including a two-touchdown game last week. Both Cole Beasley and tight end Dawson Knox round out the primary options for Allen, but neither are seeing the volume to be relied upon for fantasy purposes. The Broncos defense has been stout against the pass all season, but a bad half of football last week against the Vikings led to the first game of the season in which a quarterback has exceeded 275 passing yards and two touchdowns against this unit. Even with last week, this Broncos unit is giving up the fifth-fewest passing yards per game (210.3) on the season, thanks in large part to shut-down cornerback Chris Harris. Harris should be locked in on the only consistent contributor in this Bills passing offense, John Brown, while the Broncos pass-rush should be able to overwhelm a mediocre Bills offensive line. This group may not be a playmaking bunch with just five interceptions and 24 sacks, but they have played well enough as a team to keep most opposing passing offenses in check and should have a decent chance at subduing the underwhelming Bills passing attack.
