Ebert saw a target on the second drive of the game. After play action, he ran an intermediate crossing route. Gabbert fit the ball into him, but he faded away from the throw while the defender on his back attacked it. Ebert saw another target in the second quarter when the defensive back was more aggressive attacking the football again. This time the defender was penalized for pass interference though. On third and 12, Ebert caught a short curl route underneath.
