TE Jason Dunn - Kansas City Chiefs
|6-4, 257||Born: 11-15-1973||College: Eastern Kentucky||Drafted: Round 2, pick|
2006 Week 2 vs DEN (2 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Dunn was effective on two tight end sets. He helped control the offensive line, protecting Huard. He saw a couple passes thrown his way.
2006 Week 6 vs PIT (3 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Dunn was targeted twice on his way to, or in the end zone. The first was broken up in coverage, the second fell right out of his hands. His lone catch put the Chiefs on the three yard line, setting up Larry Johnson's touchdown run.
2006 Week 12 vs DEN (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Dunn did not see very much action. He was targeted one time but had no catches.
2006 Week 14 vs BAL (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Dunn was unable to corral the only pass sent his way during this contest. Unfortunately the pass hit him in the hands and he dropped it. That was on the Chiefs' first possession. After that, Tynes was unsuccessful on an attempted field goal and the Chiefs lost a chance to set the tone for the game.
2006 Week 15 vs SD (2 / 2 / 27 / 0 rec)
Dunn caught both of the balls thrown his way in the second half.
2005 Week 2 vs OAK (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Jason Dunn primarily contributed as an extra blocker. He did not have any receptions for the game.
2005 Week 6 vs WAS (1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Dunn was used mainly as a blocking tight end on running plays. He caught the only pass thrown at him for a short gain.
2005 Week 7 vs MIA (2 / 2 / 42 / 0 rec)
Dunn caught both passes thrown to him. He was especially impressive after the catches though. He is 6'6" and 274 pounds and it was an extreme task for the Dolphins' defensive backs to bring him down. He may not be as fast as the Chiefs' wide receivers, but he has good hands and runs over opposing players.
2005 Week 16 vs SD (2 / 1 / 2 / 0 rec)
Dunn was able to contribute well on pass and rush blocking. He also keeps the defenses honest since he is a good pass receiver and can slip outside, catch a short pass and run over defenders in his path.
