2015 Week 9 vs DEN (2 / 2 / 18 / 1 rec)

The Colts' return to a multiple-tight end offense benefitted Doyle on Sunday, as Indianapolis' "other" blocking tight end scored on a play-action at the goalline and grabbed a big 15-yard catch up the middle for a first down on the team's go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter. Doyle's snaps still aren't consistent enough to consider him in fantasy, however, as the third tight end in Indianapolis.

2014 Week 2 vs PHI (2 / 2 / 12 / 1 rec)

He snagged a touchdown pass on one of the Colts' play-action goalline passes on Sunday, and showed surprising athleticism with his dive to the pylon. He's a versatile piece for the Colts, who used him as both a fullback and inline tight end in heavy sets on Monday. He'll get some red zone looks, but is way, way down on the list of targets for Andrew Luck.

2014 Week 3 vs JAX (3 / 3 / 10 / 0 rec)

The third tight end usually wouldn't be a highlighted fantasy player, but in the Colts heavy sets, Doyle is one of the main receiving targets. But, even when plays are run specifically for Doyle, his lack of speed means he's limited to short routes, and yards after the catch are minimal. Any fantasy contribution from Doyle would be completely touchdown-based, and he didn't receive a target at the goal line this week.

2014 Week 17 vs TEN (5 / 4 / 21 / 1 rec)

The Colts third tight end reminded fans why Pep Hamilton was so high on him with a strong receiving game on Sunday, considering his spot on the depth chart. Doyle was just a quick-hit, possession tight end, but he can be useful on play-action with his soft hands and underrated athletic ability.
