TE Dorin Dickerson - Free Agent
|6-2, 226||Born: 3-31-1988||College: Pittsburgh||Drafted: Round 7, pick 2010|
2012 Week 4 vs NE (2 / 2 / 36 / 0 rec)
Dickerson caught a wide open screen pass from the Bills' own goal-line before carrying it down the field for 25 yards. He looked like a running back carrying the football in space with good speed. He also made a nice falling reception running a crossing route after beating Steve Gregory in coverage.
2012 Week 9 vs HOU (1 / 1 / 13 / 0 rec)
Dickerson only received one target on the day, but did a nice job turning the screen up field for a 13-yard gain. Dickerson was uninvolved otherwise.
2012 Week 11 vs MIA (1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Dickerson had one catch on Thursday night, a four-yard screen that needed considerably more space to be successful. Dickerson slipped into the flat, but the TE is far from explosive and Miami was able to blow the play up rather quickly.
2012 Week 12 vs IND (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Dickerson received one target, but it only resulted in one bad drop for the TE. Fitzpatrick perfectly placed the back shoulder throw on Dickerson's numbers as he opened up to the pass, but tried to catch the toss with his body instead of his hands. The throw went right through his arms and fell incomplete. Nothing more than a nice video clip for aspiring footballers on how NOT to catch a pass.
2012 Week 15 vs SEA (2 / 1 / 10 / 0 rec)
Dickerson caught one ball on the game's final drive, a 10-yard out from backup QB Tyler Thigpen.
2012 Week 16 vs MIA (8 / 4 / 54 / 0 rec)
Taking over for an injured Scott Chandler early, Dickerson led the Bills in catches and yards and was tied for second with eight targets. Dickerson's long went for 22 yards on a corner route on the Bills' 2nd drive. Two catches later, on the Bills' opening drive of the 2nd half, Dickerson picked up 17 yards on deep down the middle, but without much contact, fumbled the catch away. Later, on an incompletion, Dickerson went down and appeared to be seriously injured as the training staff promptly put the TE in an air cast while he was still on the field.
