Game Recaps

2014 Week 5 vs CLE (2 / 2 / 18 / 0 rec)

On a day when Delanie Walker wasn't being featured in the passing offense much, Coffman was always unlikely to see many targets. He did catch two short passes underneath on back-to-back plays in the third quarter though.

2014 Week 11 vs PIT (4 / 3 / 32 / 1 rec)

With Delanie Walker not involved, Coffman got an opportunity to make a reception in the third quarter. He caught a deep crossing route when he was wide open after play action. A few plays later, Coffman caught another pass on an out route against man coverage. It was Chase Coffman drive, as he capped it off with an athletic touchdown reception in the end zone.

2014 Week 16 vs JAX (1 / 1 / 14 / 0 rec)

With Justin Hunter and Dexter McCluster absent, as well as Kendall Wright playing through an injury, it wasn't a surprise that Chase Coffman saw an early target. Coffman caught a first down pass on a deep out route after play action.

2013 Week 8 vs ARI (2 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)

After returning from an injury that kept him from seeing time in recent weeks, Coffman saw two targets. The first was a route in the middle of the field near the end zone that Matt Ryan overshot due to pressure. The second was a seam route that was well covered and picked off when Ryan tried to press the issue. Coffman has good hands and can function as a zone receiver, but he's not a speedy player and the Falcons are lacking outside speed right now.

2012 Week 19 vs SEA (1 / 1 / 16 / 0 rec)

Coffman caught one sixteen-yard pass from quarterback Matt Ryan, a back shoulder fade that set up the Falcons on first-and-goal at the Seattle one-yard line in the first quarter. Coffman's reception, just his second of the season, preceded a one-yard touchdown reception by Tony Gonzalez, which gave the Falcons a ten-point first quarter lead.
