Week 7: vs Houston Texans - $4000

All WR vs HOU

FBG says: Good matchup. Jacoby Brissett has done a fine job of managing this Colts passing offense to start the season. While his last game against the Chiefs was far from spectacular on the stat line, Brissett didn't need to do much as his team leaned heavily on the run. With the Colts tendency to lean on their ground game, this passing offense will not be expected to generate flashy stat lines. However, Brissett did have multiple passing touchdowns in his first four games leading into Week 5--so he has shown he can generate some fantasy value. T.Y. Hilton returned from injury in Week 5 and led the team with five targets, converting four of them for 37 yards. It was not a great game for Hilton, but the bye week should have afforded him time to heal up from the quad injury that has limited him since Week 4. Nyhiem Hines has been next in line for targets behind Hilton on the season. He has hauled in 10 receptions for 85 yards in the past two games despite having yet to play more than 50 percent of the snaps. Reliance on the game script will limit the predictability of his contributions. Tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle also remain involved in the passing game, with Doyle seeing about two-thirds of the snaps compared to a third of snaps to Ebron in the past few games. The Texans pass defense has given up over 270 yards and three touchdowns in back-to-back weeks and have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game (PPR scoring) to both opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers on the season. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph was inactive last week after popping up on the injury report Friday with a hamstring injury. Cornerback Bradley Roby also injured his hamstring last week and will miss at least the next four weeks. These injuries make an already thin secondary even slimmer as they will be relying on the likes of Phillip Gaines and Keion Crossen to step up in addition to the already struggling Lonnie Johnson Jr. If Joseph does indeed miss another week, this should be one of the most exploitable trios of cornerbacks in the NFL for Week 7. On top of their issues on the outside, these linebackers have also struggled in coverage as they are allowing the league's most receptions and receiving yards per game to opposing running backs--highlighted by big receiving games from the Panthers, Saints, and Falcons running backs. While the Colts do operate a run-first offense, this Texans defense is setting up to be a pass-funneling unit that should present some big upside for Colts pass-catchers this week.
