Brown was brought in a couple times to give Larry Johnson a rest. Brown came in as first relief for Johnson because Michael Bennett was held out of the game with a hamstring injury he picked up in a race during the past week. Brown provides an emergency backup for Johnson and Bennett.

Brown was only brought in at the end of the game on the Chiefs' last drive after Larry Johnson had to leave with an injury. On two of Brown's three carries, it appeared that Brown might have dropped the ball and had it recovered by the Chiefs. No fumble was called on either play.

Brown got some game action in the second half to spell Johnson.

Brown came in to give Johnson a breather on a few plays and got four carries for 11 yards. He also added one catch for five yards.

Brown was brought in a couple times to give Larry Johnson a breather and he was given the final series after Johnson secured the Kansas City team rushing record. He looked good in a backup role and provides security now as a backup behind starter Johnson.

Brown was only brought in as a brief replacement to give Larry Johnson a breather. He is currently only used as insurance at the running back position.
2005 Week 17 vs CIN (1 / 2 / 0 rush, 2 / 2 / 14 / 1 rec)
Brown made the most of his opportunities receiving the ball. He caught both passes targeted for him from Trent Green. The second catch was an eight yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.
