Summary

Both Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard missed significant time last year, which opened the door for rookie Darius Slayton. Slayton was the 19th receiver drafted last year, but ended up one of the most productive rookies. He caught 48 passes for 740 yards and 8 touchdowns in 14 games. From a fantasy perspective, Slayton (12.1 PPR points per game) was outscored by both Tate (14.0) and Shepard (14.0) on a per game basis last year, although that's misleading because it includes the games where Slayton was a backup and played less than 50% of snaps early in the season. Slayton will play primarily out of the slot when all three receivers are healthy, and has a capped fantasy ceiling but also a high floor. View Slayton as a Top-40 receiver with upside. (July 14)

Giants | Darius Slayton blanked in Week 12 (Sun Nov 29, 05:24 PM) - New York Giants WR Darius Slayton was held without a catch on two targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Our View: The Giants got the passing downfield to Evan Engram part right today, but couldn't get Slayton involved. He's just a bench stash in dynasty leagues as we wait for the offense and execution to embrace his ability to get open deep.
