Summary

Coming off consecutive seasons as the top tight end in fantasy football and two more where he was no worse than the No.2 option, Kelce is the gold standard at the position. Patrick Mahomes and Kelce have a strong rapport on pivotal down and distance situations and Kelce and Mahomes have a mind-meld on off-script plays. Kelce can run every route and challenge cornerbacks with his suddenness, size, footwork, and route acumen. He's also an open-field nightmare after the catch because of his acceleration and balance. Andy Reid loves to use Kelce as an in-line tight end, in the slot, split wide, and occasionally as a runner on jet sweeps and shovel passes. Kelce is the most important threat in the passing offense after Mahomes because of the mismatches he creates. Expect Kelce to remain one of the top two threats in this prolific Chiefs offense.
