Summary

T.Y. Hilton will turn 31 halfway through the 2020 season. Prior to last season, Hilton missed a total of four games in seven seasons. He escaped major injury and he played through pain without any glaring deficiencies in his game or the box score. A torn calf muscle challenged him last season, which forced him to miss six games. He finished with a fantasy ranking of 57, which was the first time he fell out of the top 25 in his career. He has a $14.5 million dollar cap hit this year and will be a free agent after the 2020 season. He is expected to be the Colts top receiver this season, but the team has also set plans to find his replacement that could decrease Hilton's role and/or his production. Indianapolis has two round-round wide receiver picks on the depth chart who will be a big part of the offense. Parris Campbell who was drafted in 2019 and Michael Pittman Jr, who was drafted in 2020. Both could eat into Hilton's target shares and reduce his overall production numbers. In eight seasons in the league, he has only had one season with less than five touchdowns. He has reached 100+ targets in seven of those eight seasons, with last year's injury-riddled time frame being the only year he fell below 100. From a fantasy standpoint, Hilton is still a viable WR2 option. He should be fully recovered from his calf injury and ready to play the lead role in the Colts receiving corps. (May 4)

Colts | T.Y. Hilton catches four (Fri Nov 13, 01:10 AM) - Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton had four receptions (on five targets) for 40 yards in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans.

Our View: Hilton looked more spry and lively than he had in recent weeks, but he clearly doesn't have his usual second gear. He's not worth carrying in typical leagues.
