Summary

Amari Cooper delivered a career-best season in his first full year in Dallas. He set career marks for yards (1,189), yards-per-catch (15.1), and touchdowns (8) and provided Dak Prescott with a reliable big-play receiver. Cooper times his career-year perfectly, and was rewarded with a 5-year, $100-million contract including $60 million in guarantees. His role as Dallas' top receiver, at least financially speaking, is secure for years to come. Cooper ranked WR15 on a per-game basis last year in PPR formats, so his ADP is calling for a best-case scenario. Yet, given his age, role, and the potency of his supporting cast, it's not illogical to target Cooper as your No. 1 receiver. (July 14)

Cowboys | Amari Cooper undergoes ankle procedure (Thu Jan 7, 04:11 PM) - Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle) recently underwent ankle surgery that was termed 'a cleanup,' according to ESPN.com's Todd Archer, who added that Cooper will not require a long rehab.

Our View: Cooper will be good to go for the start of training camp. He's the no.1 receiver of the Cowboys and should continue as a WR2 with upside for Fantasy GMs.
