Summary

Cleveland traded a first-round pick, a third-round pick, and Jabrill Peppers for the talented but mercurial wide receiver in what was the blockbuster move of the offseason. Beckham's value to Cleveland is not only that of an All-Pro talent but someone who can move Jarvis Landry back to a secondary/slot role where he has shown more likely to succeed. Receivers like Beckham not only make their quarterbacks better but make the other pass-catchers on their team better via matchups and opening up opposing defenses. Beckham likely won't be force-fed targets as he was in New York, but the quality of the targets he does see and the scoring chances of this offense should make up for a lack of volume. (April 19)
