Summary

Second-year quarterback Josh Allen had an up and down year for the Bills once he took over under center. The things people were worried about--accuracy and decision-making--definitely showed up, but he also showed how dangerous he can be with his legs. His arm-strength was clear as well, and while he missed some downfield, he hit enough to be dangerous. The team will probably stay with a ground-heavy attack, trying to pull the defense off deep routes so Allen will have an easier time getting the ball to his receivers, but they will have to start giving him a deeper playbook to see if he can improve. He needs to show he is more than a set of legs with an inaccurate cannon for an arm. Of course, the question remains as to whether they have done enough to get him weapons to catch the ball and if they haven't, it's going to be hard for him to show improvement. One thing is for sure, he'll rack up the yards on the ground again this year. (May 3)

Bills | Josh Allen runs for pair of scores (Sun Nov 10, 04:43 PM) - Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 22-of-41 passes for a career-high 266 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns while running for 28 yards and two scores.

Our View: Allen was off on key fourth downs and not seeing open receivers at other key junctures. He had an excellent fantasy afternoon becasue he ran in two scores, but he couldn't execute often enough to get the win. He'll be a good play again next week vs. Miami.
