Outlook

Allen Robinson was the Jaguars 2nd round (61 overall) pick in the 2014 draft. With such a deep draft at the WR position the Jaguars used back to back 2nd round selections on two very talented receivers. Robinson has the big body size (6-3, 220 lbs) to play on the outside opposite of Cecil Shorts. He has the ability to make the tough catches in traffic and showed that nicely last year at Penn State where he caught 97 balls for 1,432 yards. He could be the Jaguars 3rd or 4th WR to open the season and has a realistic shot at 30 to 40 catches.

Bears | Allen Robinson uncertain about future in Chicago (Mon Jan 11, 01:45 PM) - Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson told the Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer on Monday, Jan. 11, that 'everything is pretty much on the table' as it relates to his impending free agency.

Our View: No player in the league wants to be slapped with the franchise tag. We'll see what the Bears want to do with Robinson and money talks. Robinson has worked with poor quarterback play for most of his pro career. Imagine how much he could produce with a top-tier passer. He'll have plenty of interest on the open market.

Bears | Chicago eliminated from the playoffs (Sun Jan 10, 07:45 PM) - Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 19-of-29 passes for 199 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the NFC wild-card game loss in New Orleans on Sunday, Jan. 10. RB David Montgomery was limited to 31 yards on 12 rushes, while Trubisky also chipped in with 10 rushing yards. WR Allen Robinson led the team with six grabs for 55 yards on seven targets, while WR DeAndre Carter registered three grabs for 17 yards with one run for three yards. TE Jimmy Graham ended up with 25 yards and two receptions with a touchdown, while TE Cole Kmet had three grabs for 16 yards on four targets. LB Danny Trevathan had a game-high 10 total tackles, including nine solo stops, with a quarterback hit.

Bears | Chicago's Week 18 injury report (Fri Jan 8, 03:08 PM) - Chicago Bears CB Buster Skrine (concussion) did not practice all week ad has been ruled out for the NFC Wild Card game versus the New Orleans Saints. WR Darnell Mooney (ankle) and LB Roquan Smith (elbow) also did not practice all week but are listed as questionable. CB Jaylon Johnson (shoulder) was limited all week, while LB Josh Woods (toe, glute) was limited for a second straight day Friday, Jan. 8; both players are also listed as questionable. CB Duke Shelley (knee) and WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) were limited at practice Friday but removed from the injury report. WR/RB Cordarrelle Patterson (personal), OL Alex Bars (shoulder), S Deon Bush (foot), S Tashaun Gipson (neck), S Eddie Jackson (wrist), TE Cole Kmet (shoulder), OT Charles Leno Jr. (toe), LB Khalil Mack (shoulder) and CB Kindle Vildor (ankle) practiced in full Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Bears | Thursday DNP for Allen Robinson (Thu Jan 7, 07:12 PM) - Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 7.

Our View: Bears fans and Fantasy GMs know this is the deal with Robinson. He'll miss some time in practice to get rest then be out there on game day. Robinson and RB David Montgomery are the key cogs for the Bears offense as they play the Saints on Sunday.
