Cardinals | Kyler Murray hasn't closed door to baseball (Sat Jan 18, 07:04 AM) - Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray hasn't necessarily given up on playing the sport of baseball. In an interview with The Arizona Republic's Bob McManaman, Murray said that he thinks that he would be capable of playing in the NFL and MLB in the same calendar year. 'I think I could. ... Athletically, I think yeah, I could do it. I've been playing both my whole life. I would love to add that to the resume.'

Our View: That's an...interesting...response from Murray who was a top-10 pick for the Oakland A's. Murray is not prohibited from playing baseball by the Cardinals but doing so would void future guarantees in his contract.
