Outlook
The 2013 7th round pick struggled to get on the field as a rookie and it's hard to see how that will improve since the team added James Jones. He'll likely be fighting with Juron Criner for a roster spot.

2013 Game Summaries
Week 1 - Butler caught a short hitch on third and long and the end of the first half. The Colts were more than happy to give it to him.
Week 2 - Butler only caught two balls and took a punishment for both catches. The biggest hit came on his 9 yard grab over the middle. He looked more sure handed than Moore and was targeted more in the second half than the starter. Butler had a target in the red zone in the second half but the ball was deflected just out of his radius at the last minute.
Week 3 - Butler went across the middle on his first target of the day and dropped a leaping catch just before taking a huge hit. His 29 yard reception came on a deep cross against zone coverage. Jacoby Ford ran a fly route and chased all three defenders in the area deep. This left Butler wide open for the big gain. Butler did show a nice stiff arm on a wide receiver screen to pick up nine yards on a play that could have gone for 1.
Week 4 - Butler caught Flynn's first completion, a quick hitter for six yards out of the slot. Butler was largely forgotten after that early reception and struggled to get open against the Redskins secondary.
Week 5 - Butler was absent for most of the game, not even seeing a target in the first half. His lone catch came on a 20 yard pass 3rd and 14 that moved the Raiders into position for their final field goal. Jacoby Ford- Ford didn't see much action but again flashed his speed early on a wide receiver screen. He turned the well blocked play into a 10 yard gain with a quick burst that had him in the secondary before anyone could react.
Week 6 - Streater's catch in the first quarter came on a solid route against a safety. He beat the safety across the middle for a 15 yard reception. His 13 yard catch in the fourth quarter came on a slant against Cooper who was playing soft coverage. These were two of the very few times that Streater was able to get in the open against Chiefs coverage.
Week 12 - Butler got back into the action but dropped a well thrown deep ball down the left sideline. He's been in the doghouse and didn't do anything to get himself out.
