Retired S Eric Weddle (Rams) has turned down multiple offers from NFL teams this year. He remains retired, but a 'perfect situation' might be able to lure him back, in the opinion of one NFL analyst.

Los Angeles Rams S Eric Weddle (shoulder, knee) has yet to make an official decision about his playing future, but he already knows he has no interest in returning to the team as a backup. He also noted that he has some injuries that need to get taken care of before he can make a firm decision to return for another season.'I'm not going to come back to be a backup, and that's totally fine. That's what I would expect them to do, and so, if that's the case, then it will be it for me. ... I think it's a foregone conclusion. ... We've got some good, young players. So, we'll see. Nothing is set in stone, but I've had a great run. No regrets, baby,' Weddle said.

DT Willie Henry (abdomen), TE Hayden Hurst (foot), OG Alex Lewis and LB Za'Darius Smith (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. CB Brandon Carr (knee) and S Anthony Levine (hamstring) practiced in full Friday and are listed as questionable. LB Chris Board (concussion) was limited in practice for third straight day Friday but no longer appears on injury report. WR John Brown (non-injury), RB Alex Collins (knee), WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury), LB Terrell Suggs (non-injury), S Eric Weddle (non-injury) and OG Marshal Yanda (non-injury) all participated fully in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

| Footballguys view: Henry is getting closer to a return to strengthen an already strong defensive line group. If Williams and Smith can't go this weekend, second-year OLB Tyus Bowser could get a lot more run against the Browns this weekend. |
