The San Diego Chargers have waived WR Seyi Ajirotutu, DL Ogemdi Nwagbuo, WR Kelley Washington, LB Kevin Bentley, DE Mike Blanc, CB Ramon Broadway, TE Charles Davis, RB Isaac Odim, LB Nick Polk, WR Laurent Robinson, FB Dean Rogers, DE Damik Scafe, P/K Ricky Schmitt and S Quinton Teal.

The San Diego Chargers have some tough decisions to make at wide receiver, where they plan to keep six players. WRs Vincent Jackson, Malcom Floyd, Patrick Crayton and rookie Vincent Brown are locks to make the team. Seyi Ajirotutu, Richard Goodman, Bryan Walters and Kelley Washington (knee) are competing for the final two spots, and each player has made a strong case to stick. Washington has missed the past two weeks and his injury could linger into the season, which could make him a roster casualty.
Footballguys view: Washington is a good special teams player, but his knee injury could cost him a roster spot. We feel Ajirotutu should make the team because of his upside as a developmental receiver. |

The Minnesota Vikings have shown interest in unrestricted free-agent WR Kelley Washington (Ravens), sources told Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
