Former Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker signed a one-day contract with the Titans to retire Tuesday, Oct. 18.
| Footballguys view: Walker came into the league as a sixth-round pick for the 49ers in the 2006 NFL draft. Coming out of Central Missouri, Walker was a fine receiving weapon for the 49ers and the Titans - with each team for seven seasons apiece. The Titans have a rookie, Chigoziem Okonkwo, who reminds us of a young Walker. We'll see if he can flourish the way that Walker did in the pros. |
