Los Angeles Chargers LB Asmar Bilal (calf), DT Justin Jones (shoulder) and QB Tyrod Taylor (ribs, chest) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. RB Justin Jackson (quad) and LB Nick Vigil (groin) did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful. DE Melvin Ingram (knee) and did not practice Friday, Sept. 25, and is also listed as doubtful. OG Trai Turner (groin) also did not practice Friday but is listed as questionable. S Rayshawn Jenkins (groin) was limited in practice all week and is also listed as questionable. OT Bryan Bulaga (knee) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is listed as questionable as well. DE Joey Bosa (triceps), TE Hunter Henry (ankle) and DB Desmond King (back) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report.
| Footballguys view: Ingram is a standout and his absence will help Teddy Bridgewater although Uchenna Nwosu is an up and comer and could show the Chargers that there is a less of a dropoff than they think as Ingram enters free agency next year. Jones has also had a good start to the season and his loss will hurt the defensive line. Vigil being out will get Kyzir White on the field a lot for the second straight week. |
