The San Diego Chargers have waived SS Brandon Taylor.
| Footballguys view: He was on the PUP list before last season, but was never activated so it's not a shock he was let go. It might be hard for him to get another shot with a team much less make the final roster. |

San Diego Chargers SS Brandon Taylor (knee) is seeing plenty of chances in offseason workouts with SS Jahleel Addae (undisclosed) out, but Taylor doesn't seem to have the same type of burst as he did last summer after having 'clean-up' surgery on his knee in January.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers FS Brandon Taylor (knee) did not participate in team drills in his first practice of training camp Friday, Aug. 2. The team is easing him back into action after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in December.

Chargers | Two land on PUP Wed Jul 24, 08:07 PM
The San Diego Chargers placed LB Melvin Ingram (knee) and SS Brandon Taylor (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list Wednesday, July 24. Ingram suffered his torn anterior cruciate ligament in May, and likely will begin the regular season on PUP, making him ineligible to return for at least the first six weeks. Taylor tore his ACL in December, and had surgery in January. He has a chance to return to practice during training camp, and potentially see action in the preseason.
