Free-agent WR Rod Streater (Bills) is signing an undisclosed deal with the Cleveland Browns Monday, Sept. 17.
Footballguys view: The Browns needed to add talent to the wide receiver position after trading Josh Gordon to the Patriots. We're not expecting much from the speedy Streater now that he's landed with a new team. |

Buffalo Bills WR Rod Streater worked with the first-team offense during practice Wednesday, Aug. 1, because WR Andre Holmes (undisclosed) was sidelined for most of practice.
Footballguys view: We'll monitor the Bills WR corps in dynasty leagues but re-draft Fantasy GMs should be looking elsewhere for late-round punch at the position. Streater saw time as an outside receiver and a slot receiver during practice. |

Buffalo Bills WR Rod Streater has made impressive catches each of the first two days of training camp, according to Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News, and Gaughan believes Streater could emerge as the No. 4 receiver. 'It's just going out here and making plays and being consistent,' Streater said. 'You continue to compete and hopefully things work out.'
Footballguys view: With Kelvin Benjamin's on again, off again injury issue and Zay Jones questions on and off of the field, Streater could actually start at some point, but that's still probably not worth much outside of very deep dynasty leagues. |

Buffalo Bills WR Rod Streater has been working mostly with the second-team offense during OTAs, and he said he is hoping to make the most of the opportunity with Buffalo. 'Once you get your foot in the door, it doesn't matter if you're first on the depth chart or last,' Streater said. 'What you do in camp and what you do in preseason is what really matters.'

The Buffalo Bills signed WR Rod Streater to a Reserve/Future deal Monday, Jan. 1. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Streater was hurt in the preseason with the Bills and received an injury settlement. He's likely healthy now and going to compete for a roster spot this offseason. Streater's game is all about speed, speed and more speed. |

The Buffalo Bills cut QB Keith Wenning, TE Wes Saxton and TE Rory Anderson Saturday, Sept. 2. WR Rod Streater was released with an injury settlement.

Buffalo Bills WR Rod Streater has been one of the highlights of training camp up to this point, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Footballguys view: There's a glut of receivers behind Sammy Watkins and it's not a pass-heavy offense, so even the second receiver here doesn't have a ton of value. Streater has never been consistent, though he does have talent, and we aren't expecting things to be different. Good in shorts and shells is a lot different than good - and consistent - in a game. Streater isn't getting drafted right now, and that shouldn't change. |

Buffalo Bills WR Rod Streater has had a solid first week of practice and is separating himself from some of the other receivers on the roster, in the opinion of BuffaloBills.com's Chris Brown.
Footballguys view: With Sammy Watkins often hurt the guys in the second and third slots are potential fringe fantasy producers. Streater has yet to be able to produce consistently though, and this is not a pass-heavy offense. Streater wasn't getting drafted before, and we don't expect him to really see a bump in ADP. More than likely, you can grab him off the waiver wire after the draft. |

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (49ers) and TE Wes Saxton (Redskins) signed undisclosed deals with the Buffalo Bills Wednesday, May 24.
Footballguys view: Streater hasn't gotten much interest on the open market and his 60-catch season from 2013 seems like a distant memory. The Bills are full of question marks on the depth chart behind Sammy Watkins, but we're not expecting much from Streater if he does make the 53-man roster. Undrafted out of South Alabama in 2015, Saxton has speed and can be moved around the formation. Saxton will compete with Nick O'Leary and converted QB Logan Thomas for a spot on the depth chart behind starter Charles Clay. |

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (49ers) is visiting the Buffalo Bills Tuesday, May 23, according to a source.
Footballguys view: Streater hasn't gotten much interest on the open market. The 49ers may just be updating their emergency list here. Streater hasn't done anything in years, and his 60-catch season from 2013 seems like a distant memory. |

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (49ers) is drawing interest from the Minnesota Vikings, according to a source.
Footballguys view: We don't see much happening here if he signs. The Vikings have a pretty good crop of receivers, and Streater would just be left out in the cold. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rod Streater and an undisclosed draft pick were traded to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for an another undisclosed draft pick Saturday, Sept. 3.
Footballguys view: The 49ers are looking for someone to fill the slot receiver role after losing Bruce Ellington for the season. Streater got banged up and fell off in Oakland, and he didn't do much of note with the Chiefs in camp or the preseason. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rod Streater has filled in admirably on the first-team offense for the injured WR Albert Wilson (calf). 'I think Rod's done a phenomenal job,' WR Jeremy Maclin said. 'We've asked him to play outside, we've moved him to the slot and I think he's a very intelligent guy. He's picked up the playbook really well.'
Footballguys view: Streater appears to be ahead of freakish 2015 third-round pick Chris Conley. He can also play the slot. We won't talk about him in fantasy leagues unless Maclin goes down, and maybe not even then, but Streater appears to be on track to be in the Chiefs top three receivers this year. |

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin invited WR Chris Conley to work out with him at the team's training facility in the offseason. WR Albert Wilson joined them to lift weights, watch film and work on route concepts four days a week until the team's offseason workout program in mid-April. Conley and Wilson are the team's No. 2 and 3 receivers, and trying to hold off newcomers WR Rod Streater and WR Tyreek Hill.
Footballguys view: Conley is the player to watch here. We love his ability to crisply run the entire route tree. He's got the athleticism to get open with ease, and Conley has the speed to get by defenders quickly. Wilson is a fiery receiver who is built like a running back. No matter who emerges as the 2nd or 3rd WR in Kansas City, there will not be many fantasy points scored. Both Conley and Wilson are players to look at in dynasty leagues only at this time. |

Kansas City Chiefs WRs Albert Wilson, Chris Conley, Rod Streater, De'Anthony Thomas and Tyreek Hill will all compete for playing time behind WR Jeremy Maclin. Head coach Andy Reid liked what he saw from Wilson and Conley during offseason workouts, though.
Footballguys view: Travis Kelce is really the #2 receiver for the Chiefs, or perhaps 2B with Jamaal Charles as a 2A. The team could pass more with Justin Houston possibly sidelined for a good part of the season, but any wide receiver other than Maclin would only amount to the fourth option in a somewhat conservative passing game. Conley could be a deep threat and he's an athletic freak, so he's the one to watch in deep dynasty leagues. |

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (Raiders) signed a one-year deal worth up to $4.8 million with the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday, March 12, according to a source.
Footballguys view: Injuries and inconsistencies have held Streater to just 10 catches over the last two years. If healthy, Streater could at least be a deep threat for the Chiefs thin WR corps. |
Rod Streater player page

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (Raiders) is visiting the New England Patriots Thursday, March 10, according to a source.
Footballguys view: Streater could find a nice roll in this offense, which has a little void due to cutting Brandon LaFell. That said, he's a rather one dimensional player, so his upside is low. |

Free-agent WR Rod Streater (Raiders) will visit the New York Jets Friday, March 11.
Footballguys view: Streater has had moments but largely has been a disappointment. He'd likely be buried on the depth chart behind Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall at the very least. |

Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater is expected to be the Raiders' No. 3 wide receiver if he stays healthy.
Footballguys view: Fantasy owners aren't locked into this news item, nor should they be. We appreciate what rookie starter Amari Cooper could be this season. Even Michael Crabtree could have a bit of fantasy value in deeper leagues. However, Streater is nothing more than a low-end dynasty prospect. |
