Chicago Bears TE Dion Sims is still a valuable piece to the puzzle, according to head coach Matt Nagy. 'The nice thing with Dion is that he's a guy that's proven to be a solid blocker,' Nagy said. 'He can be in there and be your Y-tight end, but yet he still has really good hands. He can make plays on intermediate routes.'
| Footballguys view: Sims is kind of the forgotten man at the TE position for the Bears. Second-year pro Adam Shaheen is an exciting dynasty prospect and the Bears added Trey Burton in free agency this offseason. Burton and Shaheen will compete to be the primary pass-catching tight end. Sims is a 'Y' meaning that his game is more all-purpose than your 'F' (receiving) tight ends. |

The upside is that Miami can grab a good tight end in the draft and guys like Martellus Bennett are still available in free agency. We don't have high hopes for Sims with the Bears either given the quarterback situation. |
