Colts | Weslye Saunders suspended 8 games Thu Jul 18, 06:42 PM
Indianapolis Colts TE Weslye Saunders has been suspended for the first eight games of the 2013 season for a second violation of the NFL's policy performance-enhancing substances. He was suspended last year for four games for violating the PED policy as well. He's eligible to participate in training camp and the preseason. After the team's final exhibition game, he won't be barred from team facilities until Nov. 4.
| Footballguys view: This is the second time Saunders has been suspended during his pro career. He was suspended for the first four games of the year last season. Another strike and Saunders would get bounced for the entire year. |
