Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Carlton Davis (shoulder), DB Logan Ryan (knee), OT Donovan Smith (foot) and DT Vita Vea (calf) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 18 against the Atlanta Falcons. LB Carl Nassib (pectoral) was limited in practice all week but has also been ruled out. OT Tristan Wirfs (ankle) and QB Tom Brady (rest) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: We'll see how long Tom Brady and the starters play in a meaningless game against Atlanta. It's probably better to not trust Brady, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin over players with full motivation this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Akiem Hicks (foot), CB Sean Murphy-Bunting (quad) and DB Logan Ryan (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. WR Julio Jones (knee) also did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. S Mike Edwards (elbow) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. Footballguys view: Gage being off of the injury report is good news, but he hasn't been a big part of the Bucs pass offense despite their dink and dunk approach. He could be a waiver wire pickup next week after he faces a depleted Steelers secondary this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Akiem Hicks (foot) and DB Logan Ryan (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 5 versus the Atlanta Falcons. TE Cameron Brate (concussion) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Oct. 7, but has also been ruled out. WR Julio Jones (knee) and WR Breshad Perriman (knee, hamstring) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. LB Lavonte David (rest), WR Mike Evans (rest) and RB Leonard Fournette (personal) did not practice Friday but are expected to play. WR Russell Gage Jr. (hamstring), WR Chris Godwin (knee) and OT Donovan Smith (elbow) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. QB Tom Brady (shoulder, finger), CB Carlton Davis (shoulder) and DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches (illness) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys view: Fournette missed practice on Friday for personal reasons, but he should be out there in Week 5 against the Falcons. The Buccaneers will use him as a battering ram again, giving him RB2 with upside potential for Fantasy GMs. We'll see if rookie Rachaad White continues to get worked more into the mix as well.

Buccaneers | Tampa Bay's Week 1 injury report    Fri Sep 9, 04:46 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Zyon McCollum (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. WR Russell Gage Jr. (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. WR Chris Godwin (knee) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Sept. 9, but is also listed as questionable. LB Lavonte David (rest) and WR Mike Evans (rest) did not participate in practice Friday but have been removed the injury report. RB Giovani Bernard (ankle), S Mike Edwards (illness), WR Julio Jones (rest), S Logan Ryan (hamstring) and OT Tristan Wirfs (abdomen) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear the injury report.

Footballguys view: It seems like neither of Gage or Godwin are safe plays this week. If one sits, the other will have more upside to offset the risk of playing them with a questionable tag, but we might not know that for certain until Sunday night, well after lineups set. Mike Evans has a lot of appeal this week in light of that, and Julio Jones could even make it into a few lineups.

Free-agent CB Logan Ryan (Buccaneers) signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday, Sept. 5. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

New York Giants LB Cam Brown (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Atlanta Falcons. DB Nate Ebner (quad), TE Evan Engram (calf) and WR Kenny Golladay (hip) remained limited in practice Friday, Sept. 24, and are listed as questionable. RB Saquon Barkley (knee), DB Logan Ryan (hamstring), TE Kaden Smith (knee) and WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) also remained limited in practice Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. DL Austin Johnson (illness) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and has also been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys view: Engram and Golladay aren't sure to go, but Golladay is probably more likely to play than Engram. Golladay has a great matchup against Falcons, but since this is the hip that gave him problems last year, the Giants might be conservative about his usage.
