Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones, WR Andre Holmes and FS Brodney Pool have passed their conditioning tests and will begin practicing Friday, Aug. 3.
Footballguys view: Jones is at least draftable now, but mainly as a handcuff to Demarco Murray. Phillip Tanner will be closing on him for the backup job if he can't stay healthy this summer. |

Dallas Cowboys officials have tentatively scheduled Wednesday, Aug. 1, as the day RB Felix Jones, FS Brodney Pool and WR Andre Holmes run their conditioning drills. The three players failed the tests Sunday, July 29, and haven't been allowed to practice.
Footballguys view: Holmes generated some buzz in the spring, but he is falling behind in the competition for the wide open number three wide receiver job. Lucky for him, fifth-round pick Danny Coale is still sidelined by a broken foot suffered in OTAs. Felix Jones remaining fantasy value is dwindling by the day. |

Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones, WR Andre Holmes and FS Brodney Pool failed the conditioning test at the start of training camp Monday, July 30.
Footballguys view: Another strike against Jones, who might be fighting Phillip Tanner for the second-string job if he can't get in shape and stay healthy this summer. He isn't worth a pick in the first 10 rounds right now. |
