Falcons | William Moore open to returning to Atlanta Fri Aug 26, 05:44 PM
Free-agent SS William Moore (Falcons) said he would be interested in re-sign with the Atlanta Falcons, but Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said the team is not considering Moore. Quinn did say the team likely will sign a veteran safety because of the injury to FS Keanu Neal (knee).

Atlanta Falcons SS William Moore and LB Justin Durant were released Monday, Feb. 8.
| Footballguys view: Durant was an ineffective starter for the Falcons in 12 games this past season. The move creates a little over $2 million in cap space for the Falcons. Moore has the ability to be a playmaker, but he's missed 29 games (including five in 2015) over the past five years. There's $3.3 million in dead money remaining for Moore, but the Falcons did free up around $3 million with this transaction. |
