San Francisco 49ers LB Kwon Alexander (ankle), RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) and S Jaquiski Tartt (groin) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 7 against the New England Patriots. DB Jimmie Ward (quad) was added to the injury report after not practicing Friday, Oct. 23, and has also been ruled out. OT Trent Williams (ankle) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (calf) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. CB Dontae Johnson (groin) practiced in full for a second straight day and has been removed from the injury report.
Footballguys view: The 49ers will be without their starting safeties and one of their starting linebackers, and they already lost Nick Bosa, but the Patriots passing game isn't in a position to take advantage. Whether or not Wilson plays is a key to Jerick McKinnon and Jamycal Hasty's value this week. |

QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), LB Dre Greenlaw (quad), WR Dante Pettis (knee), WR Trent Taylor (ankle) and DB Jimmie Ward (wrist) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: We'll watch Samuel's status leading up to Sunday afternoon. If he can't go, Brandon Aiyuk should see more touches, although he'll be facing the best pair of outside corners in the league. |

Free-agent TE John Phillips (Cardinals) signed an undisclosed contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, May 20, according to a source. DB Dontae Johnson was released to make room for him on the roster.
Footballguys view: Phillips is a seasoned veteran who has been around the block. A sixth-round pick out of Virginia in the 2009 NFL draft, this will be the sixth team Phillips has been a part of. He's a big-bodied blocker with a single season career high of 15 catches back in 2011 when he was with the Cowboys. Phillips will block for the Chiefs and is not a fantasy factor whatsoever. |

Free-agent QB EJ Manuel (Raiders), WR Sammie Coates (Texans), WR Davon Grayson (Chiefs) and CB Dontae Johnson (Cardinals) signed with the Kansas City Chiefs Friday, Feb. 22. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Any target for Patrick Mahomes will get our attention in dynasty formats. Coates has been a bust during his pro career but we know the physical talent (strength, speed) is there. Grayson was undrafted out of East Carolina last year but he's got the speed and athleticism to get open outside. Super deep dynasty GMs should be following along with these two just in case. |

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills WR Terrelle Pryor signed a one-year deal Tuesday, Oct. 30. CB Dontae Johnson was released in a corresponding move.
Footballguys view: Pryor is an upgrade for one of the league's worst WR groups. He'll compete with Zay Jones and Andre Holmes for snaps/targets behind Kelvin Benjamin. There's not a ton of fantasy value in Buffalo's passing game. |

Seattle Seahawks CB Dontae Johnson (foot) is expected to miss at least two weeks because of a broken bone in his foot, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
